CLUB5050 ELIGIBILITY AND 300 WORDS BLOG IS A MUST! Another TIPS for Steemit Philippines Members and Visitors

It’s been two months since I posted my tips on behalf of the #steemitphilippines community, on what to do and what not to do in order to get the chance to be recommended for booming support.

Now I find the need to reiterate those important points which could help everyone to thrive and survive in this challenging battle wherein while others get a very high upvote, some members also get a very low upvote and sometimes even zero.

Anyhow as per my assessment after 2 months, there are still a lot of members and visitors who failed or perhaps forgot to always submit at least a 300 words blog in order to qualify for the support. It has been the cry of the moderators every time they will select for the top 3 posts of the day, and having very few posts that have 300 words or more made it hard for them to finally choose the one to be recommended for booming support.

I. 300 WORDS REQUIREMENT

So this will be a gentle reminder and encouragement as well to always make your blog longer or at least 300 words. Personally, I found a lot of wonderful posts that are worthy of support but failed to comply with the 300 words requirement.

SOME OTHER TIPS TO MAKE YOUR BLOG LONGER AT THE SAME TIME MAKE IT ATTRACTIVE

A. CAPTION TO PHOTOS

This one came from steemcurator01 himself, when you share a photo you can include captions or a little story about it and that would add already to the number of words enclosed in your blog. So if you attached 5 photos and you put captions each, you will end up exceeding the 300 words threshold. That’s for sure!

B. REFRAIN FROM USING A LOT OF FOOTERS OR GIFS

Coming from steemitcurator01 again, we are all encouraged to keep away from putting a lot of gifs or footers in our blog so as not to waste their time scrolling.

C. FORMATTING, PARAGRAPHS

To make your blog more organized or readable, you should improve formatting or arrange your thoughts in proper paragraphs or sections.

D. TITLE

Let us not make our title too long, this simply means that we will not include unnecessary words in our title. Let’s make it short and salient!

E. POWER UP SCREENSHOTS

I used to show this in my posts, but since steemcurator01 himself mentioned that it’s not anymore necessary since they look at our wallet and refer to Steemworld when they need to validate club status or something with regards to our account status. So I suggest not to include screenshots of your power up and club5050 status.

II. #CLUB5050

Talking about #club5050, booming will no longer upvote those accounts that are not #club5050 verified. Again I see a lot of amazing posts that although reach 300 words or more, the author is not #club5050 eligible. So what you should do in order to be eligible?

• First, try to accumulate more steem by creating quality and original posts
• Second, never withdraw or encash or transfer all of your earnings.
• If you need to withdraw for some reason, keep half of your earnings and power them up

I think there’s no need to power up little things once in a while, it’s better to keep it or save it, and when it already grows to a considerable amount that’s the time that you do power up. For me, the best time is during the 1st day of the month by participating in the #SPUD4STEEM initiated by @kiwiscanfly, aside from making your STEEM POWER grow or increase you will also have the chance to win a prize.

So to be able to qualify or be considered as #club5050 members I encourage everyone to participate in the #SPUD4STEEM initiative and observe the following important things:

• POWERING DOWN within 7 days before the #SPUD4STEEM competition disqualifies you to win a delegation.
• Should have and MAINTAIN at least 500 SP to qualify for the prize
• Must have and maintain a CSI of at least 5 or more
• You must be active on #steemit
