Good evening fellow steemians. It's been a while I took part in a contest, however, I'm excited to participate in this one. I want to thank the Healthy Steem community for the beautiful topic they've come up with for this second week of contest.

The different methods of medication administration are the different ways medication is administered to our body.

💉Which of these three routes of medication administration do you consider the fastest and most effective to relieve pain, why?

Intramuscular injection are injection types that are directly into a muscle. The muscle absorbs easily into the bloodstream. Vaccines and antibiotics are predominantly given this way.

Intravenous injection is injecting medication into the vein. This pattern is used for administering fluids amongst others.

Oral medication: this involves taking drugs through the mouth.

The blood movement in the body is primarily responsible for transport of materials to the different parts of the body including medication. Oral medication has to first go through the digestive tract and dissolve first before it is absorbed into the bloodstream. Injection on the other hand does not need to dissolve, it readily goes into the blood stream and so either Intramuscular or Intravenous is faster that oral, with a bit preference to intravenous since it is directly to the bloodstream.

💊 There are two ways to administer injected treatment, intravenous and intramuscular. Which of them do you prefer in case you need quick relief or discomfort?.

The intravenous and intramuscular have different functions, however, for relief of pains, I'll prefer intramuscular as there would be no need to first seek a vein. I remember taking my younger sister to the hospital one time she ran temperature and she was shaking, when the nurses took her, before checking her vitals they said she had to be stabilized a bit, they tried to inject her on her but, the first one burst cause she was very hot and then a few minutes after the injection she got so calm. Trying to find her vein would have been a very stressful process.

💉There is a very good medicine for our body vitamin B12, why do you think they indicate it more in injection and not in pills? Do you think they do not have the same components or the same effect?.

Vitamin B12 is a very important vitamin to the body as it is essential for making red blood cells. Red blood cells are responsible for transporting oxygen to our muscle and organs. Low vitamin B12 in the body can cause lack of focus, fatigue etc.

"Vitamin B12 tablets aren’t absorbed into the body as well as injections, they must be taken daily. The dose is often very high, as most of it will pass through your digestive system and be excreted by your body. This means that the effects will happen more gradually, with symptoms often taking some time to improve.
The superior rate of absorption of B12 injections means that they can be administered every 3-6 months. Your B12 levels will immediately increase, leading to almost instant improvements in your symptoms. In fact, most people notice they have better focus and decreased fatigue within the first 24-48 hours." Source

"B12 injections are absorbed much better by the body because they are administered intramuscularly (into the muscle), and therefore directly into the blood. B12 tablets must pass through the digestive system, which leads to much poorer absorption rates." Source

💊If you are one of those who do not take pills and you do not like injections, what other method are you looking for to relieve pain or discomfort!?.

I am very comfortable with injections however, if injection is not available I'll be okay with medical administration topically. That is medical administration that involves application to the skin. Massage can be very relieving.

Thank you for finding time to go through my piece.

Hola amigo, pues si, la via intravenosa es mas rápida y efectiva, también para la vitamina B12 es mucho mejor esa via y la IM para su absorción. Éxitos en tu entrada.

Intravenous medication is really the fastest when it comes to medications. The blood is an essential fluid in every living organism as it aids the transportation of nutrients to various parts of the body.

Greetings dear
Medicines are the best inventions of medical science to heal us from diseases. Medicines taken orally take more time than injections to prevent us from diseases. You are intramuscular
Prefers quick recovery with injections. Great care should be taken while giving the injection. I wish you well.

Thank you for finding time to go through my post. Indeed we are all thankful for the invention of medicines as they speed up healing processes. I'll do my bit to take care of my health. I know you listed great ways you look out for yourself too. Thank you so much for your wishes. All the best.

Intravenous and intramuscular injections serve different purposes. But when it comes to pain relief, I understand why you prefer intramuscular injections. With intramuscular injections, there's no need to find a vein first, which can make the process easier and more convenient. It's great that you have a preference based on your own comfort and experience.

Thank you for visiting my post. Have a good night rest

Thanks friend
