Everything around us is environment. That is why there is a direct connection between our life and health that depends on where we live and how the place is.
One of the example that I can bring is our North sea, we live direct on coast and we love our sea. It is one of the cold and stormy sea, that means time to time it has high waves and those time after storm when we go to beach then we find a lot of garbage that people through into water like:
- a lot of plastic bags and bottles
- styropor
- cans
- and many other things

It is not long ago we heard this word "Microplastic", it was difficult to imagine that our plastic bottles that used for water often give a micro particles into water, that are invisible and we unintentionally get it into our body while we drink water. Currently there are no long term results what it could cause for our body, but the studies showed that such microplastic are found in our body, often then are on such small level that there is even a new word is there for the description "nanoparticle" that slowly also integrated in our vocabulary.
It was few years when we heard about microplastic, since then there where possible we try to buy water in glass bottles. I immediately remember the old time when we had only glass bottles for everything:
- milk
- water
- juices
- soft drinks and many different type of drinks
This is something we can control.

There are many things we can do? It is important that we start teaching our children since they are young, in nursery and then in school. It is essential to teach that environment is our home and if it is clean then we will be healthy.
We need to make sure that we avoid to burn our garbage in backyard, of course, if feel that it is good because we get rid of it but all the burn stuff will lead to air pollution with chemical if plastic burnt. Many children suffer from Asthma and chronic respiratory problem.
Water is another essential that we need, if water is contaminated we can suffer from infectious disease like cholera and infectious diarrhoea.
That is why it is important to have filter for water and also to boil water so that all bacteria is killed.
Chemicals that is used to kill insects that is then absorbed by soil and we can get them in our food.
There should be a strict controlling system to make sure that we protect our health and the health of our future generation.
Nowadays we have many classes in school that promote protection of our environment, that is why schools organising days when classes go to clean beaches from garbage and to clean the school territory, the same time every spring children planting a tree in our local parks as a tradition, it is always a pleasure to see how the park is growing.

Todos los seres humanos deberíamos preocuparnos por los microplasticos en el agua que consumimos, los filtros de agua sirven para purificar el agua de esos microplasticos y además de las bacterias que estén presenten. Me gustó mucho tu presentación, debemos enseñar a nuestros niños sobre cómo guardar el ambiente y lo que nos rodea.

Thank you for reading my post and it might be the same constrains that all the countries facing, same behaviour of people. Starting with our school children hope we will grow responsible adults :)
Yes you are right! Pollution is a problem of whole world and now Every country is facing a lot of challenges due to it. But hope is good and I think in future we will spread awareness among the people through education.😊

We, as living beings, are more aware of the environment that surrounds us and how important it is for all living beings in which we inhabit an area or ecosystems, we must be aware and at the same time show our own interest in maintaining the sustainable environment for animal and plant life and the preserved care of soils, waters and air for an environment free of contaminants.
Compare your opinion in which you mentioned that before there were glass containers and they were in many cases returnable (used several times) the plastic as it is cheaper and easier to make, has invaded our ecosystem damaging with its plastic nanoparticles.

Often strict regulations of the countries help to discipline us, if we know that something will be punished then people will do what they need to do.

Hello! You eloquently highlighted how pollution, especially microplastic in water, can affect our quality of life. Microplastic made me very anxious, especially when I read that this is not possible to tell for sure what will be the consequences of it in our body. That put me off of plastic bottles completely. Thanks you for your feedback and for visiting my post :)
You are living in North sea nearest area and you are talking about your area that people are not aware of taking care of the environment and how they are throwing litter in the form of plastic bags, styrofoam,cans so it seems to me that they are increasing water pollution with the passage of time that is ultimately too much for their health but today they are not understanding so in such kind of population there should always be and awareness so that they may avoid such kind of foolish acts and my preserve their environment.
