Pyrexia is also known as fever. When the body's normal temperature increases then fever appears. A temporary rise in body temperature is called fever. These are the types of fever.

• Dengue is a viral infection.It is due to mosquito.Mosquito bite cause dengue. Its symptoms are pain behind eyes , severe headache , vomiting , nausea , high fever , feeling too much weakness and muscles and joint pains.

• Malaria is a dangerous fever. Malaria is very common fever. It is caused by parasites. It is not a viral disease. Major Symptoms of Malaria are headache , fever , difficulty in breathing , fatigue , confusion and seizure.

• Typhoid is due to S.Typhi bacteria. It is highly contagious disease. Constipation or diarrhea , prolonged high fever , abdominal pain , nausea , fatigue and headache are the symptoms of this disease.

• Pyrexia of unknown origin is described as the persistent fever that evades diagnosis for at least three weeks adding one week of investigation in hospital. The symptoms are increasing temperature , sweating , headache and chills.

• Rickettsia is like bacteria it is an unusual type of bacteria which causes many similar diseases like mountain spotted fever , Epidemic typhus and Ehrlichiosis.

• Leptospirosis Fever is a two phase disease. It is a blood infection caused by leptospira bacteria. It can effect humans and dogs. Minimum people face this disease.

• Chikungunya is a virus.it is spread due to mosquito bites. Fever and joint pain is its symptoms.

Pyrexia is itself cannot be suppose to be dangerous. Because a body fights against infection. However , a fever supposed to be dangerous in adults when the body temperature is higher than 105.8F. Hyperpyrexia is considered the most dangerous fever. It is untreated fever. It is the most dangerous for lung and heart patient.

A high temperature that can be damaging the body organs. Symptoms are fatigue , light headedness , nausea , muscle cramps , thirst , dizziness and extreme sweating. A patient of hyperpyrexia must consultant to health care. Moreover , take a cool bath and put wet sponges on the skin.

Drinking juices , soups and fluids in the forms of water help to reduce fever. Tulsi tea is one of the best tea for fever. The two ingredients are high in antioxidants which are Lemon and honey. These are beneficial for viral symptoms like flu and cold. Taking bath in high fever is best.

Try to keep light clothing. Eating a proper diet. Maintain your healthy diet. Always eat healthy food. Avoid overeating. Activities can raise the temperature of body. Rest is the key to get relief from fever. A patient need rest to reduce fever.
