Hello Everyone!

Firstly, I would like to thank the @Healthy Steem community for organizing such a great topic for contest post.

What do you recommend for a good breakfast? Tell us what benefits there are to eating this way.

I would recommend a proper balance of carbohydrates, protein, fiber, nutrients, and nuts for breakfast. As breakfast is our first meal of the day we need to make sure to eat healthy and balanced meals to feel energised throughout the day.

Vegetarians:
For a good source of nutrients and fiber, one can take oatmeal and top it up with nuts and fruits for a more balanced meal. Or have a bowl of sprouts that contains different nutrients.

Non-Vegetarians:
For a good source of protein, one can have an omelet and sometimes a mushroom omelet or different veggies omelet for a good diet according to their taste and preference.


Does junk food affect our health? Tell us how.

Yes, junk food does affect our health not only on a physical level but also on an emotional level. As what we eat and how we feel are linked together. So, one should eat healthy and avoid junk food as it contains a lot of sugar, color, preservatives, and spices that might disturb or upset our stomach.

Junk food is the cause of many health issues like obesity, heart-related problems, and many more. So, many health issues will be solved simply by avoiding junk food.

Is it good to eat dinner at night? Tell us why you think this way.

Yes, we all should eat dinner but, before 3 to 4 hours of going to bed. Personally, I recommend eating before or around 7 pm so that the food gets proper time to digest before we sleep. And, eating early and light dinner helps to improve your sleep and digestion and prevents heart-related problems. And, eating early and light dinner will also solve many health-related issues.


Is it better to have two or three meals a day? Explain your answer.

Yes, one needs to have two to three meals a day as we need to have 2000 to 2500 calories per day and we can’t take it all in one go. We need to break it down in two to three meals a day.

From your post I also learned about different aspects of food. Also, different types of food and how many calories our body needs, how often we eat, everything is useful for us. I understood everything very easily from your course. It was a very useful post in a very short time. I liked it.

Ciertamente la comida chatarra causa algunas alteración en la salud y tal como lo dices debemos tener una alimentación balanceado sin embargo considero que debes tener más en cuenta las proteínas, sobre todo en el desayuno que es cuando más necesitamos energías. Healthy life is what everyone need and everyone in this contest is explain what to do to remain healthy and have a healthy life.
Eating oatmeal is good for health, also milk. Moreover, eating before going to bed at night we should be able to sleep later than 2 hours and, lastly, your point about 3 meals a day is right, that a person cannot digest food at a time.

I'm guilty! I must admit that my bad habits outweigh my good ones when it comes to food. Not that we eat a lot of junk food.
It is just that we love things like steak with a piece of fat. bacon and egs.. etc.
I will also often skip breakfast, which I know I shouldn't.
