Contest alert! || Pain - A Disease or Symptom
Contest alert! || Pain - A Disease or Symptom?
Greetings! To everyone of you. To begin, I'd want to thank the Healthy Steem Community for arranging this challenge, which I'm excited to participate in. I would like to extend an invitation and best wishes to all steemists.
The pain, a form of sensation familiar to everyone, seems commonly misinterpreted. For some reason, although pain is a feeling that we do know about, it always seems to be poorly understood. Is it an illness or symptom? The answer is also interesting and at the same time complicated.
Pain is also a secondary feel or a symptom: it occurs as an alarming sign from the body that introduces some cause, which already brought about change and what precedes its emergence. Although at most times, it is usually the body expressing that: Pay attention because there’s a problem here but in some chronic conditions such pain also becomes a disease itself.
Now, we will proceed to discuss how the last time I felt pain was. A headache. Was it systemic or musculoskeletal? A headache is usually deemed to be of systemic nature lasting outside the musculoskeletal framework. It is a pain condition that will spread across your whole system such that you feel sick in general. A headache is usually viewed as a systemic pain since this type of disease does not have its origin within the musculoskeletal.
What actions can you do at home to relieve the pain? In case of headache, however, I'm not a physician I am not aware of any pain to be cured but considering the general practice a treatment can be recommended. There are several possible remedies that may be based on common practice:
With headache, if you drink warm boiled water and rest in the darkened room with your forehead covered with warm cold compress tissue paper or cloth may help.
Sometimes ordinary over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen may also work.
We can also use pain reliefing balm, oil-ment, and oils. Like Tiger balm, Vicks Vapo Rub, and Axe oil. those are sudden action pain reliefing medicines.
Nevertheless, it should be kept in mind that these are just recommendations and there is no guarantee of their suitability for all. Do remember, however, to seek guidance from a healthcare professional appropriate for your individual case.
As a result, comprehending pain and what causes it or how to deal with it is very significant in sustaining our health. Pain is a multi-faceted entity that can either be trivial or pathological and undeniably warrants both focus as well as sympathies. Whether pain is a symptom or an illness, it’s a complicated process that needs scrutiny and attention.
Finally, Keep in mind that you are not the lonely traveler on this road to pain management. Reach out to medical professionals, support groups and family members if you need assistance. However, we have the opportunity to get around pain challenges and approach our tomorrow without pains.
Similarly, I kindly ask my friends to participate in this challenge @gregor8210, @kemsyluv, @alex-bridge.
