"Hey 👋 Why did you skip the amazing salad and go for the fries?" Mkpouto my dear sister asked her friend Idara, watching him dig so well into his greasy meal.

Idara shrugged, "I really just like fries much better. Plus too, a salad won’t hurt once in a while, right?"

Mkpouto sighed, "Idara, please think about it this way: food indeed is like medicine. Just as you too wouldn’t skip your pleasing vitamins, you then shouldn’t ignore the healthy stuff on your amazing plate. What you eat can of course really affect how you feel as well."

Do you believe that the foods we eat have medicinal value?

Yes I do, I so much strongly believe that the entire foods we eat have a much significant medicinal value. When we do consume nutritious foods, our dear bodies get in the necessary vitamins, the minerals, and as well other nutrients that definitely help us stay healthy and actively fight 💪 off illnesses.

  • For like centuries, the different cultures have well used food as a remedy for some various ailments. The Modern science now also supports this perfectly, showing well how certain foods can help boost our immune system, help improve our mental health, and also even help prevent diseases like diabetes and the heart disease.
Give 5 examples of foods that you consider to be powerful "medicines" for the body, and what they do.

1. Garlic: well Known for its dear strong smell, the garlic is very much a powerful medicinal food. It indeed has compounds that help to boost the immune system, also reduce blood pressure, and definitely lower cholesterol levels. Absolutely 💯, it’s very well crucial for the schools to always teach children about the medicinal value of the food. In Understanding the link connection between diet and the health from a young age can boost and lead to better eating habits that definitely last a lifetime. When the children learn well on how different foods affect their own bodies, they are verily more likely to make healthier choices to correct it.

  • So Education about the nutrition can also really help prevent childhood obesity and probably related health issues, like the diabetes, tooth decay and heart disease. By always making this knowledge part of the dear school curriculum, we so well empower children to take control of their own health and also encourage them to really spread this awareness within their dear families and communities as well. This here can lead to a pretty healthier society overall, so well reducing the burden on healthcare systems we have and definitely improving quality of life for everyone in existence.
