Contest: Tell Me About HIV
Hi steemit Friends,
I am here to participate in this contest hosting in the healthy steem community, A person living with HIV&AID are doing well in which family and other members of the society show them love, care and support in order to avoid negative thinking.
Once people notice you are HIV patient they will begin to discriminate and neglect their responsibilities toward them. Although I have not witness any such before but I believe this exist in our environment.
People die early due to discrimination and inhumane treatment they experience from friends and family, that's why they have psychological problem which will lead to depression.
HIV/AID is real, people who are living with HIV/AID are not invited to contribute their own efforts in solving some societal problem, people differentiate from them as if they are not part and parcel of the society.
Some of them head different government agency, in fact they are hardworking and extraordinary humans who can go to any lengthy to achieve their dream.
They look healthy and strong except if they tell you the challenges such person go through. In addition, they have businesses of their own where they are doing fine with little capital they invest into the business. They make huge amount of profit from their businesses where they use to support their family by providing all basic need of life.
HIV cannot be cure but it can be manage with medication called antiretroviral which help fight the infection from growing.
Scientist have not discover strong vaccine to cure or fight the symptom but a person living with HIV can spend several years if he or she take proper care of themself by visiting hospital regularly for check up.
Eating good balance diet and regular exercise can enable a person living with HIV have quality of life.
People with HIV are part of us in which they have different talents with unique skill to improve our national development and economic beyond our expectation. We must show love and appreciate their effort in moving our countries to the greater heights. I will like to invite @rossnenye, @josepha and @goodybest to participate
