Week SIX of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 19 is over!

Throughout the season, we got to know about your style, the style of your family, your style of living, the brands that shape your style, the style changes in your daily routine, and lastly, your style through your creation.

We took a different approach this season. The emphasis was on YOU.
We set a theme, we gave you carte blanche, we encouraged engagement, and at the same time, we had numerous contests running in the community. This gave you a lot of variety to choose from and also the option to be unique.

Each day there was a good variety of posts, which meant that it was not always the same contest over and over again that received attention from the readers and not the same questions answered.

We received great posts but experienced two main problems.

1. Not all the rules of a contest are followed. Most of you failed to resteem the post
2. Poor and lack of engagement

We want to encourage you to always make sure that you follow ALL the rules of a contest and that you engage with the posts of your fellow Steemians. Engagement is one of the best ways to grow your account.

Steemit Engagement Challenge: Selection process

As per the introduction by the Steemt Team, it is up to the community team to decide how they will select their weekly winners.

Of importance for the team was staying focused on our goals of being fair, transparent, and supportive of ENGAGEMENT.

How did we manage this? We looked at the following:

1. Authors must vote and resteem the contest post
2. Authors must adhere to ALL the rules
3. Authors must post good-quality posts
4. Authors must have shown active engagement with the posts of their fellow Steemians. Quantity and quality are key and NOT most engaged
5. All the members of the team had the right to nominate and vote for posts.

Dear friends, it is of utmost importance to follow all the rules of a contest, as again, some of the top authors this week did not adhere to the rules.
