Greetings to you all in this community as the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 9 week 2 is here, this is my entry for the theme of this week's contest from this community. Without further ado, let's get to the business of the day.

I do love surprises, who doesn't? Am I spontaneous? I don't see anyone using that word to describe me. I don't like unexpected trips as I’m someone who is an intentional, cautious, plan-in-advance type of person, I can plan an event for days and still not conclude because I just want everything to work smoothly. That’s why this whole impromptu trip seems so absurd to me, knowing very well that even the best-laid plans go amiss.

Being in my younger state with excitement about a one-to-ten hitting top number, I would have jumped up in the excitement but as I grew older, I realized that not being prepared is preparing to fail. Having that in mind, I'd like to prepare meticulously for anything before taking action so once again No, I don't unprepared for trips.

Wow! If for any reason or what so ever I am asked to pack five items right now. These would certainly be things I consider important to the nature of the trip and the number of days for the trip. But no matter the trip, certain items would never go missing, they are my Mobile gadgets (Laptop and charger), Toiletry set, Clothing, Pair of shoes, and a Power bank.

Well, Mobile gadgets are necessary for our modern-day life, then I can't go around naked, can I? Thus, the clothing and the power bank come in handy if my mobile phone is drained or we are in a place without power. I didn't add the mobile phone because it will be in my hands or pocket and not the backpack or luggage and we all know the importance of toiletries, as these are what we use to care for our body and I don't think I will them behind. These items will always be in my traveling bag, no matter where am going.
This would also depend on the type of journey we are to embark on, is it a holiday trip, a romantic getaway, a family treat, a career trip, or a life journey? All these different types of trips will require of me certain individuals as they require certain activities. Like if I am to take this Steemit journey, for example, I came to the Steemit platform because a brother @preye2 wanted me to join in on his journey, and if I am to do the same to enjoy my stay here (Hopefully forever) I would like to invite those who have impacted on me since I joined this platform and they are @Ruthjoe, @Starrchris, @Patjewell, @Preye2 and @ngoenyi. This group of people not only show me how to crawl on this journey, but they held my hands until I could walk, run and jump. Some are patiently waiting to see me fly before letting me go. They have given me much love and knowledge on this journey and I wouldn't want that to stop. So, they will come along.
This would depend on what she would want us to do, after all, it was her winning. But, if she had asked me to pack my bags, dear-oh-dear, I will follow her with joy at heart to wherever she is willing to take me. What makes us one if I can support her? I would want my partner to know we are in it together after all, I was told during last week's engagement that women are always right, Lol 😆. So I believe she would know better what to do in that situation because they are more money cautious than men.
Be it to claim the prize or to enjoy the winnings, I will follow as it would be a thing of comfort and joy knowing that her partner is always by her side. Remember, you get to lose what you don't appreciate.
Life is full of surprises, as meticulous as we think we are, certain things still elude our understanding. While writing my post for this contest, I realized that we could enjoy an unexpected trip even more than we planned, so I would like to appreciate the organizers of this one. Kudus 🥂.
