City has all facilities which we need to live a happy life. Yes, In this post I will talk about city (Lahore), it's culture and history. Lahore

City is a place which have all facilities we needed for living a good life. Lahore is famous for the cultural capital of Pakistan. It boasts to have the ancient historical and ethnical look of the busy and crowded lifestyle of Lahore and the simple and beautiful natural style of lifestyle that is seen in rural areas of Pakistan.

Overview of Lahore

Lahore is recognized as one of the big and beautiful cities of Pakistan with the profound history, culture and booming economy. Lahore city holds the historical evidence of civilization and brings the memories of history even from the millennium’s age. Today the population appears to be full of zest and vibrancy, which is characteristic of a commercially, industrially and service based economy city. The sixteen piece“ Lahore Museum” adds to the list comprising of vintage Mughal architecture, exquisite embroidery and brightly bazaars give Lahore a taste of the cultural capital of Pakistan and even South Asia.

Overview of Village Life

The rural areas of Pakistan specifically the villages are often feature simple and quiet lifestyle coupled with the togetherness. Most of them are involved in farming practices and are part of Pakistan’s mostly rural living population that works in agriculture. They live a simple life that takes its time and is attached to local customs and duties. Village structures are compact and people are more connected, hence being able to support each other and take care of each other without the need of much external intervention. Though the inhabitants of the villages are denied the basic comforts of the modern world and even concrete buildings and structures, the culture and a slow pace of life in those areas are a refreshing sight after observing the fast paced life in the cities like Lahore.

Education and Employment

There are many choices available in Lahore to get education ranging from university level education to training institutes and colleges and universities for different fields of study. The diverse sector of employment in the city gives a different jobs in technology, finance, education and healthcare sectors and other fields making employment sector dynamic. On the other hand, villages face logistical issues with educational institutions: Schools may be staffed and equipped suboptimally. There are very few jobs, with most employment available in agriculture and small local businesses, and very limited prospects for career progression.

Festivals and Traditions

The cultural life in Lahore is a livid blend of culture and traditions, traditional and modern festivities. The number of cultural events annually organized in the city includes musicals, concerts and operas many art shows and modern fairs, thanks to the multicultural society present in the region. Like other countries, Pakistan also has age old festivals such as Eid and Basant to celebrated along with other occasions. Village culture aspires to follow traditional celebrations and practices where elders play a leading role in the affairs of the community. Cultural festivals like Eid, harvest festivals and fairs are celebrated by one and all, which strengthens the bond within this community.

Social Dynamics

Lahore has social relations are amplified by a workaholic mentality that people are engaged in and the social relations within the city are very complex involving different aspects of life such people from different fields meeting each other or coming from different parts of the world. However, in the village, there is more time for people to know each other more and to show their togetherness as a community. Partnerships are strictly private and social encounters are mostly with people one knows in the society.

Conclusion

Lahore and village life in Pakistan present contrasting lifestyles, the former filled with all the conveniences of the post industrial world and a rich choice of professional activity, the latter exuding the best of rural virtues based on closely knit social relations. They are two different worlds, both valuable in their ways. That way, the cultural diversity enhances our knowledge about Pakistan’s cultural heterogeneity and its more nuanced nature.
