January is always a very difficult month and for that reason, people are always advised to spend wisely during the festive period of Christmas and New Year celebrations. Today I will be talking about the savings I made to welcome January. I will be attempting the contest tips below.

1. Can I save some money to receive the month of January?

Yes, of course, everyone can save some money to receive the month of January. As I have said earlier in the paragraph above, January is always a very tough month hence it is best that we prepare very well to welcome the month.

During December, I was able to save some money which today I'm using to solve some issues. So this means that the savings for January is very possible if you plan.

Everyone who properly plans his or herself will welcome the month of January without any stress. As I said earlier, after the festive period people normally complain about not having anything and that is because they didn't properly plan.

2. What difference do you think the month of January has with the other months?

The major difference that I notice with January is that the month tends to be more difficult, especially for salary earners. You know that salary earners here in Nigeria are paid between 26-28 but during festive periods like Christmas and New Year, the salary is paid around 15-18 of December.

With that payment, they expect you to use the money and purchase all you need to have a good merriment for the celebration. After consuming the money for the celebration, you will notice that getting money again to feed in January won't be easy.

This is when the major issues will start because the payment of January sometimes will get to 30 or 31. Meanwhile, they collected the last salary of December around the 15th.

3. Do you think it is necessary to spend all the money in a single month without thinking about the following month?

It's not necessary to spend all your money in a single month without thinking of the following month. As Christians, the major time we tend to spend more is during the festive period, especially during Christmas and New Year.

Any unwise person will just spend the money without thinking about the following month but a wise person will always save something which will help him in the coming month.
