Choices! What will it be? #57

It's week #57 already and I'm delighted to join this week's participation. This week just like every other we are presented with list of 5 items to choose from i.e lounge, bedroom, kitchen, study and home.

When I carefully looked at these five items, I noticed that all the above listed four are found in the home and for that reason, my choice today will be home so that it will give me the room to talk about other items which are on the list as well.

A home is a a building that has in it among other things or places such as the bedroom, the kitchen, the study, the living room, the bathroom and the lounge. So this means that for this week all other choices we make are all found in the home.

Every complete home should have all the various segments I have listed and more because a lot of persons always confined themselves in their homes and then perform their leisure activities without going out. So to discuss home properly, we can see home as a place that has all you may need to live a comfortable life.

Kitchen

A home should have a kitchen. This kitchen is a place where you prepare your food and also store other things and perform other activities. When you come into a home that has a kitchen, you will always go to the kitchen when you want to cook.

Your kitchen serve as a place where your food items are kept and prepared when they need arises. So basically if a visitor comes to a home he or she doesn't look for food in any other place rather than the kitchen.

So when it comes to the stomach, the kitchen is always the best friend of the stomach and everyone that likes eating will always know his or her ways around the kitchen. This means that the person must know how to cook. So in summary cooking or making our food, juice and many more are done in the kitchen.

Bedroom

Bedroom, likes I said earlier the other things mentioned are all part of the home and the bedroom is not an exception. Every well organised home has a bedroom. Now as the name implies bedroom, it is a room where your bed is kept hence it is a place where ideally you are suppose to sleep.

The bedroom is a place where you keep your bed so that anytime you feel like sleeping you can just go straight to the bedroom and then relax yourself and sleep. You don't just sleep anywhere in the home and that is the reason why it is divided into various sections or segment.

So anytime you are home and you feel like sleep, you move to the bedroom because that is where the bed you ought to sleep on is kept. You will have to leave the place you are in the room be it kitchen, living room or any other place to the bedroom to go and sleep.

So in summary the bedroom in every home is designed for those who live in that home to always go in and rest or sleep by lying down on the bed which is in the room.

Living Room

Another part of a home I will like to share with us today is the living room. Every complete home has a living room and this room is where the family gather to watch television, discuss and have time with each other.

The living room is usually made up of sits and television and possibly some other sound sets such as radio and speakers. So sometimes the living room can be used as a place to catch fun most especially when they are celebrating the birthday of either the parents or the children at home.

In every home, the living room is always a very big room which is twice or thrice bigger than the bedroom. It is designed this way because you can perform more activities in the living room and that is where people who come visiting you also may likely stay.

So it is designed to accommodate a lot of people and that is why we put sits and television for entertainment incase when have visitors they can keep themselves company why we try to fix something for them in the kitchen.

Bathroom and Toilet

Another segment of the room is the bathroom and toilet. Every complete home has this segment as well because it is also as important as the others I have earlier listed above. You need a place to take your bath and also relieve yourself if you are pressed. So that can only be done in the bathroom and in the toilet.

So the home is not complete without this segment in it and that is why before you call a building a home you must be sure that the basics which I have listed and explained above are all inside it. With all of these, one can be in his or her home without any worries because you have all in one.

For instance, I currently live in a self-contained apartment which I also call my home because everything that I need is inside. I only go out to get stuffs for my kitchen and other mini things in the market. But aside from that, once I enter my home I don't step out again since I have all I will be needing in the house.

In conclusion, there are many other things about the home which I was supposed to talk about such as the study area, lounge and many more but I just feel like talking about the basics which you will find in every home and I do hope that this answers the question of my choice about home.

So based on my definition every home has a kitchen, a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom and toilet to mention but a few. I want to invite @vickyson, @drhira, and @dave-hanny to join the contest also.
