A CROCHET FLOWER BY MY SIS
Good day steemians!
We ladies, had many skills. But some of the skills we had were not yet discovered maybe because we were so busy of our household chores.
But I have this little sis, who loves to do crochet even in her busy scheds. She learn it from her college days because she is a teacher with TLE major. One day, she just woke up wanting to make some crochet. She bought 2 colors of yarn and a hook, she tried to make some sunflower keychain and wanted to give it to the mothers of our church because it was Mothers Day that time. And when she individually gave it to the mothers, one of the mothers go to her and asked her if she can make 100pcs of sunflower keychain because she will be displaying it on her store.
From there on, she posted her finished product and there were customers who ordered it.
As time passed, she saw a flower crochet bouquet, she tried to make it and tried to post it. Around June-July she received many orders because it was graduation month. And because of that, she made it her little business, and bought many colors of yarn.
And this was her latest order. My former student ordered this because she will be giving it to her supervisor.
After receiving the order, she send a message to me appreciating and was amazed by tge flower.
By the way, my sister is a liscenced teacher and is an online teacher for 3 years already. She still dont have plan to apply to a public school because of so many reasons. Since she is just an online teacher who is just working at home, she made use her vacant time making her crochet. But sometimes she slept late because she just enjoying making some crochet.
As I can see in her output, I am also amazed by it. I tried to help her because I wanted to learn but some of the flowers are so difficult to make especially the lily flower which needed some while. I can only make a sunflower and a rose.
This talent is so unique. And if you have this talent, you really had to exert effort in making it because it is so tiresome. But if you love what you are doing, everything is just a piece of cake.
