Raising awareness on romanticizing unhealthy relationships

Today I'd like to share some thoughts about feminism and romanticizing unhealthy behavior.
In my opinion, making women and men equal in their rights has a good dynamic, although it's sometimes being interrupted. But a look at some 'trends' convinced me that one of the causes there's still inequality is that we still want it.

Of course, by saying "we" I don't mean that we all literally want inequality to persist. But "we" as Internet users, can make content that propagates unhealthy relationships popular. Or not.

This is a real problem, since lots of fan-fiction, literature, films etc. defending and romantisizing abuse are being popularized now. They get millions of views and a ton of followers on social media, telling other people to appreciate such 'aesthetics'. IMHO, it's detrimental, especially to young girls and boys too.

Spending time in a community of girls in their early-teen age, I was shocked by some of them making fun from those who weren't trying to be 'hot', find an older, brutally looking boyfriend and so on. Some teens pass this stage once they get a , but what if they don't?

Shows and books of such kind almost declare that a girl needs to have relationships with lots of men, forget her moral principles and points of view or even be mentally abused to actually become a woman in the eyes of society.

It's a big lie.
I hope our society will pay more attention to this problem in the nearest future.
