INTRODUCTION
Hola Steemians y'all are welcome to my third blog for the week here in @steemalive. I'll be discussing on a topic which relates to family.
Many persons have their opinion and backup reasons when it comes to the gender that should be the first child in the family. Since their reasons makes sense then it's generally believed by most persons including me that any child can be the first born. As we know it isn't an easy task to bear the title, first born, such person should be ready to carry out major responsibilities in the family. The topic requires choice between both hence I'll be decisive.
My content will be based on the below outlines;
• Given the amount of responsibilities the first born is entitled to do which gender fits the position.
• The advantages or disadvantages if its male or female?
• Introduce your family firstborn - name, city of residence, occupation, etc.. What is so special about him/her and does he/she help the family?
• How should parents prepare firstborn children ahead of the responsibilities they will face in the family?
Given the amount of responsibilities the first born is entitled to do which gender fits the position best
Like I mentioned earlier the first born should be ready to carry out major responsibilities of the family. The future of the family after the parents lies on the shoulder of the first child since it is believed that he/she should be the next parents of the younger ones when their parents are no more.
The first born is that child that parents invest in like a business since they have the believe that when things go well for him/her, growing the younger ones won't be a problem cos the first child is there to contribute too.

With the much labour in that task I'll be choosing the male for that position. The male child has a more courageous heart to stand for the family. As a male it's certain he must have responsibilities so while he's growing up he already has that mindset that he'll need to hustle before he could feed. Those responsibilities will be well handled by the male than female as the first born.
The advantages or disadvantages if its male or female?
As we know everyone has their own reasons for picking any of the genders and reasons too for not picking either of them.
The male child as the first born is good and at the same time has demerits too.
Advantages of a male child as the first born
- He doesn't want to see any of his junior siblings intimidated by anybody hence he stands as the defender of his junior ones.
- As a boy he has the physicality to help his parents in doing house chores.
- He automatically gives his father hope that his (Father) name has gotten to another generation and is not gone.
- That family gains respect by the neighborhood since their first child is a boy.
- The Bible said it that a man with many sons is like a hunter with many arrows. The first born as a son has already given the man hope and strength outside because he has a warrior at home.
Disadvantages of a male child as the first born
- It's believed that they're more stubborn and might be a negative influence to the junior ones.
- He might not be interested in house activities since he always want to go out and mingle with friends.
Introduce your family firstborn - name, city of residence, occupation, etc.. What is so special about him/her and does he/she help the family?
Am the first born of my parents, as some of us know am Progress Woke by name, a Christian. I reside in Portharcourt. Am into different profession, I do blogging, am a Teacher and Crypto Trader too.
My social behaviour makes me special. As many persons may put it, am a caring kind of person, honest and trustworthy, also disciplined.
Since my childhood I've been of help to my family members and junior ones. I've received several blessings from my parents reasons because am always there to help them and relief their worries especially the financial aspect. These act makes my parents happy and my junior ones always want to come around cos they'll surely be gifted when close to me.
How should parents prepare firstborn children ahead of the responsibilities they will face in the family?
Some persons find it difficult cos they were not showed the way forward.
- Parents should be serious in the aspect of advising their children especially first born. Tell them how the hustle will be like. They should not just keep giving the kids food without letting him or her know how life struggles look like. So they should do well to throw advising words to their child.
- God should be involved. Any child who doesn't grow in the Lord isn't going to be a better one unless he/she repents later on and it's only God that can help one. Parents should train their kid in God's way so that God will always be there to guide them during the struggling times.
- Some of the house activities should be left alone for the child to do it and not always giving the child assistance. The first child should be given chance to do things by his/herself so as to be ready for life responsibilities.
Conclusion
Like I said earlier without being decisive anyone of the gender can be the first child, the only thing that matters in the child's life is the fear of God. If the child is not trained in the fear of God he won't cause any good thing for his parents.

If a family gives birth to a female firstborn, then they would raise her as a girl and not raise her as a boy. It's up to the parents to decide what gender they want their firstborn to be.
If a family wants a male firstborn, then they would give birth to a male. If they want a female firstborn, then they would give birth to a female.
First time of knowing you better, being the first born, you must have lots of responsibilities to shoulder but the fact that your parents bless you regularly shows that ya doing well

Yes oo...am doing very well to my capacity. Am still working hard too to assist the family, God has been faithful though.
Gender is something that is determined at birth, but that doesn't mean it can't be changed.
Yes brother you are right parents should advice their first child on how thier hustle will be like to train a child is not only given the child food they should be trained with wisdom

Yeah the parents shouldn't pamper their children anyhow, they should be trained so as to prepare for the adulthood stage.

I have heard many people give justification for saying that male children should be first born and the reason has been that they are stronger than female children and I ask if they meant physical strength? Is intelligence not preferable to raw physical strength? Won't Physical strength for defense of family always offend criminal law?
You're correct friend. But when I talk about Physical strength I meant energy in doing heavy house activities. I know very well some work I do at home that my elder cousin sister can't do. That is my area of discussion friend.
