Water
Water is a colourless, tasteless and odourless liquid which can be used for different purposes. Howbeit, we have impure water which happen to be one with some impurities, colour and odour which might really be good for drinking. Below are few uses of water.
Why does the body need water?
Water plays a very important role in the human well being. The human system is program to function well with it. Let's get to know some reasons the body needs water.
- Water helps in digestive process in the human body.
- It makes one look younger.
- Water prevents has the tendency of preventing illness.
- It helps in weight reduction in the human body.
- Water has a way of making one feel cool.
- It helps in breathing well.
- Water helps in hydration.
What's acidic water and why should we avoid it?
Acidic water is a water that has a low pH (potential of hydrogen) level. It's that water that the pH level to 1 to 7. The lower the pH level, the more acidic it become. Of course, if the drinking water becomes acidic, it therefore means it will definitely be toxic to the human body. The human system has some level of acidity in it which could be from food substances taken. Taking acidic water will definitely increase the acidic level.
Why should acidic water be avoided
- It contains high acidity which is harmful to the body.
- Such water can be bad to the teeth.
- Acidic water is dangerous to the bones.
- It fights the human immune system.
- Acidic water acts like a pathway to diseases.
What is Alkaline water ?
Alkaline water is that water that the pH level is 7 or above 7. A pH level is a range of number 0-14 that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is. It's one that neutralizes the acidic level in the human body. Moreso, to have alkaline water, the water has to be antioxidant by the present of oxidation reduction potential (OPR).
Why should we drink enough alkaline water?
Enough alkaline water should be taken following these reasons;
- Alkaline water assist in slowing down the process of aging.
- It has a way of boosting the human immune system.
- It prevents some chronic diseases.
- Alkaline water helps in keeping the bones healthy because of the present of magnesium and calcium.
- It helps in reducing acidic content in the human stomach.
Sources of drinking water in the community I live.
Communities has different sources of water. Let me generally share some sources although it's not limited to this.
Rain water: This is a type of water that comes down as rain after the condensation of the rising vapour from the earth surface.
Well water: Some other people dig up well and reaches out for water beneath the earth for survival.
Spring water: Water that stream up front he ground or from a pervious rock. It's a source of water for some people.
Stream water: This source of water is one that is mostly used in remote areas. It's has source and flows across villages and communities.
Borehole water: Most civilized area uses this source of water. Majority of families uses it this as it's very confident and less stress after drilling.
My own source of water.
At where I'm living, Aka Etinan, Uyo What3word we make use of borehole water. I enjoyed this source of water has it can be connected to meet you at the comfort of your room. You don't need to move around with water containers. From your tap in your house, you can have your water.
About what quantity of water should we drink daily.
There has been a lot of level of water to be consume daily but this varies based on geographical factors like temperature and humility of the area. Other factors includes; gender, age, height, weight, sleep duration, dialy activities and exercises methods. It's there pertinent that one uses his or her own body system to work out his personal hydration measures base on the aforementioned factors.
Therefore, my answer is that, it's different on everyone. What best suit and individual must be adhered to.
Conclusion
Water is one liquid that can't be exchange for any other. Greater percentage of cells and tissues in the human body require it for survival. For the blood to be blood, water has a great role to play. Let's get to drink clean and alksline water the more.
