Hello my fellow steemians, @steemitnlog and @steemalive community, it is my pleasure to welcome you again to another exciting and Wonderful weekly report. This report covers the period stated at the title of this post. It was a beautiful week filled with achievements and activities. Please keep on going, let me unveil how this week went to you all.

RECRUITS

As always, this week recorded a good number of new recruits who accepted the good news about steemit and joined us without hesitation. Below are the usernames of the new users that joined us.

Transferred Steemians

It is with heart full of joy that I announce the appointment of one of the steemians in the city that I was cordinating which is Asaba. Her username is @pricelesspresh. She was made a city cordinator for Asaba and with this new development, she moved with the steemians in that city. I congratulate her because I believe she is capable of handling that city and I am happy that she was motivated to take up that post as a result of the motivation she got from me. Hence, the following users are transferred to her as the city cordinator and she will henceforth, give reports about them.

Engagements and meetups

Till today, we have been having our regular chats in our telegram group and whatsapp group pages and it has brought us together. I must thank @olabillions, @davosimple and @ochang who have been Regular in assisting me to drop the @steemalive lid post to our chat groups to enable us participate. They are doing great job.

We also held our zoom video conferencing but in a different time. I invited those close to me. That is , steemians in Uyo to come to my training center so that we can celebrate both the center and my appointment as Nigerian country representative. From there, we hooked up with those that are not present via zoom video conferencing. I couldn't help it to invite them all over but they still saw what happened and benefited from the testimonies of @benton3, @ochang, @simonnwigwe, @theopportunist, @ijelady and others. These ones have us the needed encouragement to continue. The meet up was more of encouragement both from me and them all.

I gave all who came physically, one t-shirt each that I already printed, all 9 of them received including @rich9090 who sent massage for @ndufirst to help her get her own t-shirt. Those that were not present were asking for there own but I promise to see what can be done about it.

For those who came to the center, I entertained them with wine, meatpie and malt drinks which I spent not less than 30 steem. Whereas those that joined via zoom video conferencing, I sent them 1 steem each, all 16 of them have received 16 steem in total. That brings the total expenses to not less than 46 steem. The most important thing is that, we were all satisfied and encouraged. 2 users who have not been active, @ndufirst and @citysiver45 came around following my invitation and they promised to return active again. I believe that they will start steeming high again. We also signed up new user right then, @glopy who is yet to write her Introduction post.

Update on the Training center

The training center is almost ready for use or will I say as good as ready because only few things are remaining. I bought a standing fan at the cost of 82.5 steem a day before the meetup on Saturday to enable us have the meetup there

I have also equipped the office with table, chairs and bulbs to illustrate the place

Few things are remaining though they will cost much steem and they are, a roll up stand for flex or banner which will cost 87 steem, then more t-shirts that will be printed. I am happy that @stephenkendal have just approved and sent us 100 steem as a sponsorship program to enable us get more promotional T-shirts. I am very much happy for his kindness. It will really go a long way.

I will also need to get a mini tent to make an extension on the roof of the center to avoid rain entering the office. It is very urgent due the rainy season we are into here. I do not know the current price but I am yet to find out.

Future plans

Now that the training center is almost ready, the next thing is to get all promotional materials ready, like fliers, banners, and t-shirts.

Then, we will proceed to the radio station to promote steemit on air, I will host small Trainings according to the capacity of the center.

CONTEST

I am happy to let you know that I she successfully host my first contest and it was a success. It was just for the cities I am cordinating. And result was announced and all rewards paid. I have also hosted a new Contest, a 2nd one which will end soon. Check here and the rewards will be send to the winners. This contests are targeted at helping us understand steemit the more especially the 2nd contest. Contests will continue to Bea regular feature to enable us remain active.
