Food: Here are 5 Meals That I Enjoyed Within The Week Sunday 7/8/2022

Introduction

Hola all, welcome to a beautiful day. I trust you all are doing great? It's been a busy week and I haven't been able to make any post, but I need to drop this one today. So join me as I show you the Five meals I enjoyed within the week

Meal 1: Dinner: White Rice With Stew

Prepared by Me.

Rice is one of my favorite foods especially party jellof rice but I needed a little change so I made white rice with chicken stew.
The food was delicious and yummy that I craved extra plate but didn't because it was dinner and it's not advisable to eat heavy.

The ingredients used in preparing the meal are: Rice, Chicken, Vegetable Oil, Seasoning cube, Ginger, Garlic, Salt, Water, Fresh Tomatoes, Pepper, Crayfish

The food is healthy and nutritious. It contains carbohydrates, protein, fats and oil, iron, vitamins, fiber, and some calories
The cost of this meal is about ₦1,000 (9.13 steem)

Meal 2: Breakfast: Ọkpa With Pap

See eh! if you travel to Enugu and miss eating Ọkpa Enugu, then you have missed something yummylicious, tastilicious and nutritious 😋😂. I bought the ọkpa and then made the pap to go with it.
I enjoy eating okpa any day, any time because it's not only delicious but nutritious too.

In this meal, you will find protein, vitamins, fiber, carbohydrates, iron etc

The ingredients are ọkpa seed, palm oil, pepper, salt, onion, pap.

The price of this meal is about ₦500 (4.56 Steem )

Meal 3: Dinner: Akara With Garri

Hmmm, this is another meal that I enjoyed this week. It's a simple meal but nutritious. I have been craving akara for a while now and I usually buy it around my parent's neighborhood. So I visited them and when I was going, I bought the akara.

The food has carbohydrates, dietary fiber, pepper, salt, onion, protein, calories, sugar, fat*

The meal costs ₦200 (1.83 Steem)

Meal 4: Lunch: Roasted Yam and Plantain With Palm Oil Sauce

Roasted yam and plantain is best enjoyed with palm oil. If you add ugba to it, you will eat and forget yourself. 🤣
I bought this delicious combo for lunch and the cost is ₦400 (3.65 steem).
In the sauce there's onion, pepper, palm oil, utazi leaf

The food is a rich source of iron, carbohydrates, dietary fibre, oil, sugar, vitamins, calcium, etc

Meal 5: Breakfast: Plantain With Egg & Spinach Sauce

Plantain with egg and spinach sauce is a simple, quick and great meal for breakfast. The food has nutrients important to the body and the ingredients are spinach, salt, crayfish, egg, tomato, vegetable oil, pepper, plantain
The meal's cost is about ₦600 (5.48 Steem)

Conclusion

These are the simple but healthy and nutritious meals I enjoyed this past week. Thank you for being there.

Yummy meals you enjoyed alot in these days I guess you give a treat to yourself with delicious food I love all these foods specially White Rice With Stew its looks more delicious.

Anytime I come to check your food blogs, I have the feeling I should be in your house. You know how to make nice meals. Of all you featured here, roasted yam and plantain with oil sauce is my top pick. I usually enjoy this meal in the afternoon - mostly roasted unripe plantain to help balance my sugar diet. Maybe I will enjoy this meal with you someday

I agree with you on this. It's a great meal for lunch. Some people usually enjoy it mixed with porridge beans, but I prefer it with Palm oil sauce.

It has been a long time i ate roasted yam and palm oil ooo. Hmm this post is reminding me the last one I ate in Aba at AKTC park. It was yummy.
