SC01 Titbits (Week 1): Valuable insights and Survival Secrets from the Steemit Team!
Introduction
Some few days ago, I made a post encouraging everyone to always check SC01 comments page for some valuable insights. Since not everyone will have time to frequently do that or even sort through the many comments made by SC01, I have decided to run this as a weekly series - to bring those valuable insights from SC01 comments to you. They are knowledge you need to do the right things and excel.
So this is the first week. Lets see some comments in the last few days and what we can lean from them.

- Always put Image Source: I usually advice that your images should first be original. Preferably use your own images. If you need to use images that are not yours, please always check platforms that allow you to use their images for free. They include the following - Pixabay, Pexel, Unsplash, etc.
Even when you pick images from free sources, I still advice that you put the source. Its courtesy to do that. Besides, curators will not be left to guess where the image is from. Finally, that is a way to acknowledge the effort of the owner who gave you the image at no cost.
It is worse to use images that are not free without adding the source. That is considered stealing.

Quality is still king: Making quality posts should be your first priority. Its not just about word length or storyline, it has many constituents. Some things that make a post to have quality include proper use of images, content depth, grammar and diction, style of presentation, etc. Always try to improve the quality of your posts each time. to stand a chance of getting support.
CR's and Mods have work to do: Top leaders like country representatives and community moderators can help improve the quality of posts on the platform. When they read a post, they should not just enjoy the content. Their comment should include tactfully showing the author how to improve their publication. Over times, those comments will serve to correct mistakes and greatly reduce poor quality posts.

- Powering down hurts steem growth: If you care so much about the state of Steem, powering down should not be an option for you - at least now. Leaders like Country representatives should be exemplary in this regard. They should power up and encourage others to do same.

- CR's should not include Powerup screenshots: Like you already know, we all should be powering up more. Especially if we want to remain in the top clubs. Country representatives work hard to support users from their country. They make weekly reports to detail what they have done in the last 7 days. However, they should not include powerup screenshots as the Steemit team can easily pick that up from Steemworld if they wish.

Detail is important to Quality: Be detailed in your posts. While 300 words is not the only determinant of quality, adding details to a post will always increase the word length. Do not cut off important details of a story. They matter so much.
Caption your Images: Adding detail to your posts include captioning your images. As a web designer, this is a standard practice. for example, a user experiencing poor network may not see the image, but the caption will explain what it is. Besides, captioning images help your reader to understand how the image relates to your story. If you image is a location, use Whats3words to add location coordinates to it.
Conclusion
The comment page of SC01 is one place you should always go - each day. Its filled with insights such as corrections, upcoming projects, proposals, things done write or wrong, etc. If you visit it often, you will become a great Steemian. Click the link below to check the page:

Thank for letting us know all this important tips.I will be visiting his blog for more information just as you said.
I still believe that quality is the key, because if you have a physical shop and you sell inferior goods obviously you won't be expecting much progress from that shop but when you have quality goods no matter how expensive people will surely come, likewise our content when they are quality content no matter how long it takes the curators will surely be attracted to your page so simple stated quality and consistency is the key.
