Ancient/modern: see some of my old items and new ones. 10% to @steemalive.
Great and wonderful steemians, trust your day is going good, and all good plans going exactly as planned. It is my pleasure to let you know about some of my old and modern items, in this post we shall be considering about eye glasses,as you can see from the picture on top.
On Tuesday the eleventh day of August 2011. What looked like one of those normal day. We woke up at 6am,had our morning worship and expressed our appreciation to our heavenly Father in prayer. I went and took shower in preparation for the day's work.
After the shower I went to dress up and that is when I found out that I couldn't see things (clothes) in my closet. At first I said it could be soap that entered my eyes, so I went back to wash my face and eyes again, but stillthe problem persists.
But as time passes by my eyes turned red and I had difficulty in opening my eyes.
Immediately we rushed to hospital at "Onitsha Ngwa" after examining the eyes they recommended eye glasses and some drugs. They gave me drugs and asked me to come back in few days for the glass.
Since then I've been using glasses, and I renew it every two years.
THE VERY FIRST EYE GLASSES I USED ELEVEN YEARS AGO.
The picture of my eyes glass below shows my current eye glasses, which was renewed last December at federal medical center Umuahia. For some years now I've been going to FMC Umuahia partly because of the road condition to Onitsha Ngwa.
The quality and durability of my cuy glasses is better because the frame is lighter and the glasses don't scratch or break easily.

@marydexplorer. Thank you for stopping by. Really this old glasses had been here for eleven years unknowingly. After reading the contest on steemalive, I bumped in on old eye glasses while looking for something else to participate in the contest. Happily though.😀.
No I've not been using the same eye glass for eleven years. Eye glasses are renewed every two years, until ONE is 60 years and above.

This reminds me of my grandma's eyeglasses that has lasted for years, I've known the glasses since I was a small Child and it is still in existence today although she's late.
@sammylove. At a certain age, from sixty years ONE can use a particular specification of eye glasses till ONE is late. Normally ONE changes the glasses every two years.

This is so interesting.
Once the eyes is affected, everything in the body will seem unimportant and uninteresting.
Thank God you were able to visit the hospital immediately and I'm impressed to know that you kept your first eye glasses for such number of years.
