Greetings my great people, it is my pleasure to be here once again. Today, i will be writing on the benefit of eating fruit and vegetable because many people today especially those in rural areas thinks that fruit are meant for big men i.e wealthy people, but research has shown that fruit and vegetable are meant for everybody and is very good to the well being of every human.

Our food source isn't as whole as it once was and our daily requirement for fruit and vegetable are very important.

Vegetable and fruit are an important part of a healthy living, and variety is as important as quantity.

This is a natural way of boosting your immune system and a cost -effective way of keeping yourself healthy. It helps to counter any minor or major deficiency and provide anti-oxidant that we cant get 100% from other food.

Eating fruit and vegetable provides you with essential mineral and vitamins to help cellular health which boost overall vitality and health. And also help your immune system and various nutrients to promote a healthy metabolism anf muscle function.

Eating variety of types and colors of veggies and fruit is good in other to give your body the mix of nutrient it requires. This does not only ensure a greater diversity of beneficial plant chemicals, but also creat eye appealing meals.

Some benefits of eating fruits and vegetable

  • Increase energy:
    When you dont take enough fruit and vegetable, it makes your body to work harder to perform simple task which can lead to fatigue and other health problems. Taking fruit and vegetable ad well as keeping a healthy lifestyle can keep you energetic and fit.
  • Improve mood:
    Research had prove and shown that taking fruit and vegetable daily has a positive effect on a persons mood and emotional well-being. Also eating fruits and vegetable improves brain function responsible for your mood.
  • Reduce stress:
    The body uses vitamins to convert food into energy, keeps the nervous system functioning properly and reduces stress hormones, therefore, taking fruits and vegetable daily can replenish your bodys supply.

The fact that some of us eats swallow at most times compare to fruits is simply the availability, that's Africa for us😂.

@donpearl, you are in line with God's expected plans for man, there was no Ofe egusi and Ofe olugbu and akpu in the garden of Eden but fruits. That was why Adam lived so long on the earth, so if we completely embibe their patterns we will also live very long thanks for sharing.

These are indeed a wholistic benefit of vegetables and fruits. No wonder nature made them man's original diet before sin.
