_{I and @ijelady Promoting Steemit}

Yesterday, I and @ijelady embark on Steem growth Promotion in Ekpenu Ukim here in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. It was not really easy to convince someone to join Steemit. Because most people here believe in quick money and look down on Steemit. Most people even see it as a waist of time. But with the future Steemit holds for its members, we know where we are and why we are Promoting Steemit without tiring out.

Just as you can see in the first picture, the guy paid attention. He admitted that he has heard of Steemit before. But not quite sure of it. But seeing us today Promoting Steemit, made him to believe that it's really working. But his challenge is lack of smartphone. That's some of the things we experience while we are out for promotion. It simply means not all rejects Steemit when it's been introduced to them. That's why we are not relenting to tell as many as possible about Steemit.

During Promotion yesterday, one woman after examining us said.

I love the way you guys appeared, you look good with your t-shirts.

What a complement! We always dress clean with our t-shirts, Steemit banner and flier's. These tools makes ways for us. Still look at the first image, you will see the young man holding our flier while listening to @ijelady.

Just like I normally do, I have assisted my recruites @ogechukwu-martha to write 2 articles this week alone. She wrote about her business and about water. It was not easy for her to apply markdowns on her post. I had to teach her the way I thought others who are doing good right now. At the end, she was able to make these 2 outstanding post

Mentoring newbies is a task on its own. But, am happy when others are happy. That's why I always want to help them to succeed here. I have someone else that I mentored today. She was recruited by @ijelady. But she directed her to me to train her since she will not be around today. I deed that and, right now, she is a verified member in Steemalive Community.

If it pleases our dear Community, I need more flier's and a new branded t-shirt for my Promotion. I still need face Cap. Apart from that, just like our community Admin is doing. Let there be more trainings online. But this time, let it be on WhatsApp because many are not used to Telegram. So that, they can help train the newbies. My greatest challenge with them is how to apply markdowns.

The community should also consider the promotional post of the Promoters too. It's not really easy to promote Steemit in this part of the country. Let downs, sun, rain and what are view. So, if they are encouraged by curating their post, it will give them the impetus to do more. Am only suggesting not commanding.

I actually want all Nigerians to join Steemit. Am willing to bring many of them here and help them to succeed. Steemit has enough in-store for it's user's. So, am proud of Steemit and what ever thing it has to offer.
