Steem For Ladies
It was a big milestone for Steem For Ladies this week as the community caught that first dolphin!

- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 7 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 3 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
The community is maintaining the 100+ active posts week after week.
General:
Lending a helping hand to my fellow Steemians is still the first priority on my list. This week, I could assist seven Steemians via the various social media platforms. Numerous Steemians were also helped via the platform.
"How do I convert STEEM Dollars to STEEM?" This was the main question I had to helped with.
Africa:
It is still a priority to support Steemians from Africa by giving advice, supporting posts, and commenting.
Communities:
I assisted one community this week.
Issues encountered:
1.Self-plagiarism
A Steemian was caught duplicating data and images from a previous post. This after receiving a previous warning.
Self-plagiarism is when you deceive readers by claiming that previously published material is entirely new and unique when it was used in a previous post. If you want to use any data, ideas, or images that you have already used before, you have to cite yourself.
I know that we cannot all remember what we wrote a year ago, but you should be able to remember what you wrote a month ago.
2.Diary posts and images
A diary post with shared images of various dates is also deceiving the reader! If you write about a specific day, your images should be of the same day.
I have seen plenty of these post floating on Steemit this week.
