Weekly CR report by @focusnow October 26- November 1, 2020
Introduction
Its the end of another week of activity as a country representative of Nigeria. This report made to @steemitblog covers my activity in the last 7 days.
Recruitment
The unrest in Nigeria really affected the week. It was the very first week after tension started to relax between violent protesters and the authorities. So throughout the week, people were still afraid to come out. We could not hold any traning session even though the center was opened some of the days. I was still able to onboard three persons. Here they are:

Engagement and Retention
Though it has not really been easy lately, I still make efforts to keep my recruits engaged. I make a lot of phone calls to know how they are doing. Through Steemalive contests, our group chats, and other things, we try to make sure everyone stays active. Although a few have personal problems which may keep them away for some time. We have a rule in our community where each person that drops their link in our group chat must first comment on at least 2 previous links dropped in the group. This helps to keep us engaged and support each other.
Reactivated
So loose interest, others become inactive because of personal issues or family challenges. But I make sure to check on everyone and encourage to become active again. This week, I was able to reactivate 3 persons that stopped posting for some time.
@alisabae: As a busy fashion designer, she stopped posting after here first 3 posts. But with encouragement and motivation from me, she has started posting since 4 days now and never missed a day
@ladyroyal: She has not posted for two weeks now. But with support and encouragement, she has made two posts in the last two days.
@mesonia: She took the encouragement I gave here and resumed activity since 6 days now. Before that, she has not posted in two weeks. I even encouraged her to engage in STUD4STEEM and gave her some steem to support her. With that, she powered
Curation
For my curation this week using the 5000SP delegated to me, I was able to support 61 accounts, making a total of 114 votes in the last 7 days.
Conclusion/More work
I hope to continue doing more in all areas. There is always room for improvement. I have plans to do branded shirts for marketing. We also have big plans to bring in investors starting next week. One of them already confirmed we will do a deal tomorrow. In a post I will make this evening or tomorrow, I will also talk about the first person that invested 2000sp in SteemAlive back then in August which gave us a platform to start the community. We hope for more in the nearest future. Steem to the moon!!!

Thank you @steemcurator01. I am not leaving anyone behind. All those in SteemAlive Community I try to reach them and motivate them from time to time. It's their responsibility to accept help once I can't not force them, but am literally pushing them to come back.
Note: I mentioned recently about the Captcha problem on the signup page. We have not been able to signup for some days now from there because the Captcha keeps on turning endlessly. Right now, we are using this tool recommended by @cryptokannon for signups. The downside is that there is not delegation for the newcomers when an account is created with it. I have to delegate 30 Steem to each new person from my account, which I may not likely keep up because many new people are joining from me and the City Coordinators. Any solution on that?
Would you be able to make a post please with all the technical details of the signup problem - which operating system, smartphone or PC, any possible firewall or anti-virus issue, what sort of internet connection etc etc.
We will then pass that on to the Engineering team to investigate, and we can also upvote the post to provide you with some more SP to delegate in the meantime.
