GROWTH, SUSTENANCE AND SUCCESS OF SOGHAAT E HUNZA | by @huzaifanaveed1| 10% to @businessactivity
Hello everyone, I back once again in this community with another post. Keep reading this, as this will be an important post talking about the basic elements of a successful business, ie, implementation of work and sustenance.
So here we goo;
If you all have read my introductory post you all will know that my business was initiated without the intention of being it a business. It all started with a desperate call from a honey vendor in hunza who, we decided to help, with all good intentions. How and when it turned into a big scale business will be discussed in this post.
Consistency is the Key you all must have heard this sentence but be honest. How many of you did really adopt it? Nothing is easy but if you're consistent enough you will be able to move mountains and this is what we did
Soghaat e Hunza started without a plan and without any big investments. It was just us two brothers deciding to do something.
This picture is of me on 17th June 2020 and this is where it all started. This was my first delivery of the product ever. Yes we used to deliver all our products in a huge city like karachi. If you cannot fathom how huge and busy Karachi is, think for a second of big cities like Beijing and Los Angeles.
I used to leave at 11 am in the morning, with 20 kgs if honey laden on my back. Used to go all around the city on my bike and delivered the product door to door. You all must be thinking where did I get the honey orders from? It was from our social media handles.
It wasn't easy at start like nothing is. I remember waking up early morning, keeping a track of the orders, managing social media handles, making those orders, placing them in my bag and then leaving house. There were days when I used to return back home around 12 am at night. I used to forget meals in between and it effected me in my health as well

Slowly but surely our work expanded. We started getting lots of orders on daily basis, people who had ordered before started re ordering. With the business flourishing it meant more and more work. We used to bring our honey from the North Pakistan to South Pakistan(karachi) and sell it all over. It wasn't easy. Keeping regulation of our honey, testing it in the laboratories, placing the honey in bottles, packaging, all of it wasn't easy but I had Passion. Passion of doing something of my own. So Alongside my brother, we tried our best to satisfy our customers. I am the owner of this brand and I delivered the product as well, so if the the customer had any questions, they had the feasibility of asking it directly to me.
We started getting tons of reviews. Customers loved our products. Now as I have also told that I am a medical student and being a med student, we get little time from our university. But still I was trying to give my time to the startup.
Our business flourished and in 1.5 months we able to generate a profit of 85,000 pkr. Now like most of the other small startup owners who spend their profits on their leisure, I invested all of the amount back in the business. We expanded our honey types. In start we only had 3 Types of honey but in the course of time we expanded to have 8 types of honey
With our business flourishing we decided to give it a brand shape and thats when we came up with the official poster of the Soghaat e Hunza
After the posted was finalized we came up with ideas of having more professional looking bottles for our brand. We finally got our hands laid on these bottles and decided we will use these bottles for our brand
After being sorted with the bottles it was time to re-evaluate our delivery system because we could not have done all of that by ourselves. So from the profit that we had saved we hired ourselves delivery boys used to deliver our honey. After that we hired social media managers for our Facebook and insta accounts.
It was all going smoothly. With sheer determination we were being able to pull off everything. After that we decided to get stickers for our brand. Creating stickers wasn't an easy procedure as our bottle shape was symmetrical and sticker had to be precise. But with time we were able to do it.
With our more products being sold and more profit incoming we invested it all over again. After being done with the stickers, it was time for getting boxes done for our products.
Many influencers from karachi as well as all over Pakistan wanted to taste our honey. I personally delivered to a couple of influencers as well.
Alhumduilah Our business is running smoothly now with me not having tons of work on my shoulders. I only overlook the business with people working for me. So do you see the growth and sustenance of our startup? From being nothing to being a successful business with people working for us. Now we have our own delivery boys, social media marketing handlers and distributors. It is an ecstatic feeling to start something off and then being successful in it Alhumdulilah.
Even now the profit that we get from the business, I invest it in other things. I have one more business that I am thinking to launch on this platform. Can you guess what it might be? You haven't seen anything of that sort on business activity yet.
