My 3 Best Travel Moments - Steemit Engagement Season 4 week 4 | Ikogosi, Arinta and Falcorp

It's already the 4th week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 4 and here is my entry for the theme of this week's contest from this community "Best Travel Moments" by @hive-163291

Without any further ado, let's get to the actual business of the day.

Everyone has extraordinary memorable moments in their life and will cherish these moments as long as they live. I am one of those with outstanding moments I don't want to forget any time soon and happy to share it with you all.

MY BEST MOMENT 1

NAME OF PLACE	IKOGOSI WARM AND COLD SPRING
LOCATION	What3word Location

In the earlier part of this year, I got to visit this site with friends, and it still stands as one of my best moments.

Ikogosi Warm and cold Spring is located in Ikogosi town of Ekiti State, Nigeria. A 3-star resort known as the land of the warm and cold spring.

It is an eco-friendly tourist site that makes it the perfect place to be for nature lovers. It is an environment surrounded by trees, and vegetation and has been left untampered and in its natural state ensuring no interference with nature.

Ikogosi warm and cold spring is the only of its kind in the entire world. I don't think you can not find any place on earth where a warm and cold spring meets at an intersection.

Just imagine the mystery of having such a wonder where both cold and warm water runs from the same rock formation. These two springs met at an intersection where they still retain their thermal properties and never mix.

The gate fee to Ikogosi Warm spring is NGN 500 (3.37 steem) per person and comes with its lodging for those who which to stay overnight or a few days extra.

Other facilities include;

• A Bar/Lounge
• A Theatre
• A Fitness Centre
• Souvenir Shop

MY BEST MOMENT 2

NAME OF PLACE	ARINTA WATERFALLS
LOCATION	What3word Location

Arinta Waterfalls is located at Ipole Iloro village, in the state of Ekiti, Nigeria. it is a few minute's drives away from my first moment location the Ikogosi Warm Spring.

Arista Waterfalls is a large water mass flowing against rocks. It consists of seven different waterfalls with each waterfall having its unique features.

The only challenge one encounters is the accommodation because there is no hotel in the area that houses the Waterfalls, visitors and tourists who want to stay overnight or for days will have to get a hotel in the village instead.

To access the waterfall one is required to pay a certain amount for a gate fee, which at the time of my visit was NGN 500 (3.37 steems) per individual.

There is so much one can do as It comes with nature at its finest, a beautiful landscape, leafy green vegetation, rugged cliffs, a flowing stream and a gigantic rock.

It's been over 6 months already, but some of my most memorable moments include

• Hiking, as it is an incredible place for hiking activities.
• Climbing the mountains at the waterfall
• I wasn't alone, of course, why would I go alone?
• Taking a shower under the gushing water.

MY BEST MOMENT 3

NAME OF PLACE	RALCORP MANGROVE PARK
LOCATION	What3word Location

Falcorp Mangrove Park is a relaxation and geographical park in Ijala, Ikenren in Warri Delta State, Nigeria.

It was established by Henry Erikowa to facilitate eco and leisure tourism; the park showcases historical items, environmental preservation, relaxation and leisure facilities, a zoo etc.

This is a remarkable place, peaceful and quiet. The park consists of beautiful mangroves and peaceful water. It's a place where everyone can have a lot to watch and a wide range of stuff to learn.

With an approval (gate fee) cost of NGN 500 (3.37 steems), I got to experience all the above-mentioned.

My Trip to Falcrop mangrove Park Ijala is still fresh in my memories as it is only being 2 months since I have been there.

WHY I ADMIRE THESE MOMENTS?

We all have various types of days in our lives, of which some are common while others are special. These special days get carved into our memories forever. Likewise, I also have these days as memorable days of my travel movements that are very dear to me.

The memories of these days are engraved in my heart and will remain so forever as I was filled with laughter and joy, not forgetting my friends who are associated with these memories.

Over the periods of our lives, we all have these moments. Those big moments and the little moments, happy and sad and in all sizes. Most of us try our best to forget the sad ones and hold onto the happy ones. I could only hope you enjoyed mine.
