My Trip My Adventure

As schools are on vacations and it is summer holidays here, we decided to go to Tirupati as a pilgrimage this time accordingly we had already booked tickets online for darshan and on last 18th we got ready for it we decided to travel by road in our car at 8 am but everyone left after having breakfast. It was 10 o'clock to leave.

The heat was intense due to the summer, we traveled with AC as all the glass closed. The destination we had to reach was about 500 km away and the google map said it would take a letter of hours but we assumed it would take more than 10 hours as we stopped frequently in between the journey.

As our route was along the Western Ghats, we were able to enjoy the scenic views along the way. There were many beautiful mountains, rocks, gardens and water resources. In particular, on one mountain four rocks stood like men and looked as if they might fall at any moment, but they did not, and remained so for a long time.

Also on the way we could see beautiful buildings and sculptures while crossing the Cauvery river bridge, the four lions which are the national symbol of India were carved on the side of the river which we photographed. Also we took pictures of some colleges which were built with beautiful architect design.

By the way we reached our destination Tirupati in about seven hours. Tirupati is considered to be a very famous Hindu holy place.
Tirupati is regarded as a pilgrimage centre because to its numerous prominent temples devoted to Lord Vishnu's avatars. Tirupati is located in the Chittoor district of Andrapradesh state in India, near the foothills of the Eastern Ghats. The Lord Balaji temple on Tirumala hill is adjacent to this city. Lord Balaji is also known as the 'Ejumalayan' because it rules over the seven mountains of Seshatri, Neelatri, Garudatri, Anjanatri, Vrushatri, Narayanatri, and Venkatatri. Although Tiruvenkadam and Tirupati, Padmavati's mother's hometown, are two cities, they are often referred to as Tirupati. Upper Tirupati is the one on top of the hill, and Lower Tirupati is the one on the bottom.

We stayed at the management hotel in Tirupati after arriving at seven o'clock. The next morning, we went to Kalakasti temple for Lord Shiva darshan which is located nearby tirupati, and then left for Tirumala, which is around 30 kilometres away from Tirupati.

The mountain road connecting Tirupati and Tirumala is well-maintained. A path to the top and a way to the bottom are distinct. It can simply drive any vehicle. Before heading up, there is a checkpoint where every car is checked thoroughly. Plastic is also not permitted while ascending.

We arrived in Tirumala around 3 p.m. At Tirumala, Hindus shave their heads as part of a ritual formalities. So, after arriving in Tirupati, we went to the shaving place and shaved my son and spouse. There are also bathing facilities.

By then my kids were saying they were hungry and since the darshan would take at least two or three hours, we decided to go to a restaurant and have a meal. There was a variety of food in the restaurant and we ordered Veg Biryani, Paneer Masala, Chapati and enjoyed it.

We arrived to the darshan queue at 5 p.m., and while it was less busy, there were many queues such as free darshan, rupees 50 ticket darshan, rupees 300 ticket darshan, and VIP ticket darshan. We had reserved a rupees 300 ticket, so we waited in queue for two hours after seeing the temple. We received darshan and had good darshan, and we left at eight o'clock.

We left after the darshan and spent some time in the garden before returning to our accommodation. This was a very wonderful and cheerful time. Everyone was content and having a nice time. The next morning we left again and visited the nearby temples and then at around two in the afternoon we had to go to Chennai so we left and went to Chennai. The trip was amazing we enjoyed alot and had a good time.

I would like to invite @aviral123,@kyrie1234,@jannatmou to take part in thei interesting contest.

Hello my dear friend @jyoti-thelight

Travel is one of the sources or means of general practical knowledge accumulation. It is better to visit a place once than to hear a thousand stories about it. Travel has the power to extend our limited knowledge to the infinite sky. This is our today's presentation for all those who are thirsty for travel. When a person becomes a traveler, the earth becomes his home and the sky becomes his roof. I always see traveling as a great learning process so my biggest dream is to travel around the world. I wish your trip a success. I wish you all the best.
best regard @jannatmou
