Let me present my honeymoon trip that took place ages ago but is still fresh in my mind as if it had happened only yesterday. Incidentally, there was no color photography, digital cameras, or smartphones during that time.

I have too few photos that were taken by the professional guides at our disposal or by my black and white camera with film roll or a basic phone, which had a simple camera. I later converted some of the selected photos into colored ones.

I had even planned everything in detail, but my wife thought it would be too hot and too far away. She did not accept my proposal in the first place but agreed later. You can read all about our trip, but unfortunately, I will not be able to provide you with photographs of the entire trip.

But don't worry; if you wish to go ahead and have some quality time in Andaman and Nicobar, go ahead. This is one of the best honeymoon destinations.

I strongly believe that a honeymoon is more than just visiting a place, walking on the beaches, or visiting fine dining restaurants; it’s all about love and romance. The place you chose as your honeymoon destination adds value to your honeymoon, which every new couple dreams of and wishes to remember for the rest of their lives.

Port Blair is about 2500 km away, and it takes a lot of time to go by train. We have to travel by ship on the way to Port Blair, so we made a plan to go by airplane. We reached Port Blair within a few hours. We had booked a resort in advance through our local agent. Let me tell you about the different plans offered by that resort.

My honeymoon trip

That resort in Port Blair, Andaman Nicobar, had various packages within our budget, and every package offered was up to our expectations. But the only difference was our length of stay. Please look at the packages:

They offered "Your Honeymoon Special," which is more than merely basking under the sun but gives us ample opportunity for roaming in the lap of mother nature. Both of us absolutely loved the beauty of beaches with sugary sand and palm groves and a beautiful stay at a separate hut of our own with all modern facilities.

They at Andaman Nicobar Resort try their best to provide expertise in honeymoon travel because they know the needs of newlyweds, so they provided us with the best of what we needed to keep us in the best of our minds for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. I feel these moments are our most precious ones which we should preserve forever.

  

Honeymoon Special Package: 3 days and 2 nights starting at approximately 1000 STEEM
Honeymooners' Paradise Package: 4 days and 3 nights starting at approximately 1500 STEEM
Package: 4 days and 3 nights starting at approximately 2000 STEEM

But we opted for:

Unlimited Package: 5 days and 4 nights starting at approximately 2500 STEEM

At Andaman Nicobar Resort, newlywed couples find one of the most romantic experiences, wonderful surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere. The package includes breakfast and one meal either in a fine dining restaurant of their choice at the resort’s three different restaurants or in their hut or room at no extra charge. The package includes one of the specified day trips of our choice. Liquor served in the room or hut is charged extra at a reasonable price.

All these plans included hotel and airport transfers, a welcome drink, a bottle of special champagne upon arrival in the resort, and a choice between a number of air-conditioned huts or leisurely accommodation in a deluxe guest room with all modern facilities. with a modern bathroom with 24 hours of hot and cold water and a king-size bathtub. Both of these facilities are only 50 meters from the beach on the resort’s private campus.

All these plans had direct access to the beach from this hut or room, and this area is fully secured and peaceful. They take special care that no intruder disturbs the honeymooning couples. The distance between the two huts is at least 10 meters. In-house service on demand, breakfast, and one meal, either lunch or dinner, served in our hut was included in our package.

But this package included a special date night dinner for us, and as they thought people should know, we were going to spend the rest of our lives together, and we appreciate it. They played music for us and served a drink to the guests present in the restaurant at no cost.

They arrange cabs, boats, scuba diving, and snorkeling facilities at reasonable charges through some of the best agencies in the business in all their plans. This package includes standard drinks both at the resort’s bar and also served in your hut or room on demand. This package is exclusive of airfare and visa charges.

They offer different packages with an understanding of comfort, privacy, and adventure when you select any of these, which are all as exciting and wonderful as they come.

We found offers of the following trips by the resort's own fleet of cars and in collaboration with the best tour and travel operators in the business, but they said, "Please book your trip in advance at our travel counter." The number of the counter was on the hotel's phone list in our room.

They also offered scuba diving and snorkeling at Havelock Island by transport of our choice. But we had to pay for the equipment and other accessories at the time of booking. Please note that a guide with a camera for underwater photography was available on demand. And we booked one.

Neil Island: A beautiful motorboat or ferry trip from Port Blair to Neil takes about 2 hours. Please inquire at the travel desk about booking your boat in advance. The duration of this trio is 10 hours. We have two boats that leave at 8 and 9 a.m., respectively.

Baratang Island, one of the most visited, is a tiny island about 60 km from Andaman Nicobar Resort. A perfect place worth spending a few hours on. The total duration of this trip was 8 hours. So we contacted them at their travel counter for information and reservations.

Rajeev Gandhi Water Sports Complex is a must-visit water sports complex within easy reach and has all the facilities for water sports as well as walking in lovely surroundings. RGWSC attracts the largest number of visitors to Port Blair. We suggest you visit and see the magic of lush green nature, sunny beaches, and sparkling waters.

If you don’t mind spending some time in a crowded area, this place is for you. Other places worth visiting in Port Blair are the Cellular Jail and the surrounding islands. If you're looking for some wonderful experiences of rocking adventure as a newlywed couple or wish to enjoy the company of like-minded people in the great outdoors.

Places we visited:

Cellular Jail organizes a sound and light show in the evenings, so if you can spare some time during the evening, that will be a memorable experience. The entire island is full of beautiful places with palm and date trees and the Rocky Mountains.
