The Black Eagles Legion

During the time of the Roman Empire there was a famous centurion called Pabilus, he had a complete legion under his command, the Black Eagles. Well, the fact was that his best war advisor was his wife, who accompanied him everywhere and conquered, called Impolita. The most unique thing about them was that they were a very sublime couple for the time.

The days passed and the emperor called them to fulfill a mission to conquer some mountains in what is now Germany and Austria. The legion prepared for such a long journey and crossing towards a new conquest, since for Pabilus it was a challenge with honor, and so the Black Eagles prepare for these adventures.

It took them a hundred moons and a hundred days to arrive at the place, where there was a large forest with several mountains and a large river. It was a great place to establish a new city with so many resources. The only thing they were not alone were the savages of that place, they looked like beasts with their clothes. Pabilus went with one of his soldiers carrying his flag towards these tribes of savages, he was received deep in the forest there was only fog, by these people, who were full of fear, since they arrived on their land without warning.

Even though the centurion explained to the tribes his objective and that he did not want any war and to underestimate anyone, but it was useless, he was not welcome in that forest, he left the place with his soldier nothing happened to them, the days passed and they lived in fear and dread in that place, the Romans built a small fort and in front was placed the black eagle of their legion, at dawn they were attacked by the tribes, but they managed to defend their fort.

Thus they lived in this beautiful forest during the day and full of fog at night for more than sixty moons and sixty days, but resisting all the attacks, until several days were calm, until one morning several women and children of the tribe arrived at the place asking for help from the Romans, since their children were sick, Pabilus, thinking of his fear and that it could be a deception, opened the doors to receive this person to care for them, and nothing happened, after a week, the sick recovered and went to their forest, the next day in front of them, a troop of wild men arrived, where their leader left them food and fruit, food as an offering of gratitude for their help.

The rivalry between the Romans and the savages ended, between these two cultures they created the basis of a new society and cared for by all. Upon reaching the city, the black eagle was all over the entrance, Pabilus and his wife became legends in a distant land, they had the support of the emperor.
