Dear Principal Chen,
Every now and then a great personality appears in a particular field of activity. Science, medicine, politics, education.... In the field of education you are certainly outstanding.
Mostly people work to generate an income for themselves and their families. It's a job. But every now and then someone brings another attitude. They are a leader in the field. Introducing new ways of doing things. New ways of looking at things. It's not just a pay check it's an exciting experience. An adventure. A way to improve life for others.
You are a young man as of today only forty-five. With many more years to go. It will be wonderful to see what more you can do.
Among many other achievements, you are most recognized for introducing an international influence in the educational system in Hong Kong. Hiring teachers from all over the world to teach in the secondary schools. And arranging for international exchange students. You decreased the teacher student ratio making it 1:10. The affect on the students was profound. High grades and no one failed tests. 100% pass rate.
Although there has been some criticism of your strict insistence on moral behavior such as dress code that is to be expected. Whatever anyone does there will be those who criticize. Obviously you understand the connection between clean habits and the ability to focus in an educational environment.
