A Favorite Freewrite

From every Tuesday on, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income - SBI.

Try to win, my friends. SBI is an everlasting vote on your posts - that is nothing to sneeze at.

We also will give you Freewrite House upvotes on your comment.

We want to make this a super easy weekly chance to win for you.

Tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read. Not your own!

The comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit

Tell us what you liked about the freewrite and why.

See the rules below for details.

  • Go to the Daily Prompt post by @mariannewest or the Freewriters Community.
  • Do not pick the first freewrite you see. Read and recommend someone else for a change and.... as many new Freewrites as you can.
  • Tell us about a Freewrite you really liked and why.
  • Your comment must be at least 50 words long telling us about the freewrite.

Choose from the last couple of days if possible so others can go, visit, and, inspired by your description, leave a vote.

We suggest the freewrites using yesterday's (Monday) prompt (artisans) and later.

Win, Win, Win!!!

Prompt: the dirty window

Post link: https://steemit.com/hive-161155/@n-chris/the-dirty-window-a-spy-free-write

The author recollects the day when he checked into a guest house while having to attend an interview (I assume it might be a job interview in some other city, away from his hometown). So there was a window, a dirty one, which has never been cleaned in an eternity. When the author has a little glance over it, he saw his reflection amidst those dirt and cobwebs.

The author says it was as if the window painted a picture of his present self back then. He could equate the broken glass panes with his shattered hopes. The dirt on the glass implied that there is a lot of work still to be done in life. Overall the dirty window reminded the author of struggles in life and made him believe that he can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Why I like it? The author reflects on his past in detail. He also sounded optimistic about the future. This attitude of confidence is what touched me. Hence I recommend this piece.

@brahmaputra thank for your recommendation , I am grateful

Promot: artisans

https://steemit.com/hive-161155/@brahmaputra/artisans-5-minutes-freewrite

The government of India decided to invest in the own culture after they became independent again. People should pick up their skills, are taught and encouraged to be artisans again. The products are sold with help of Amazon. This way the own culture isn't only promoted but but kept alive.

Personally, I like this idea. It's wise and smart. A culture, each culture is something to be proud about. It should be cherished instead of making nations worldwide feel ashamed about it.

I recommend @owasco.
She used the prompt: andes and her freewrite (a freewrite poem) has an interesting introduction. Not if it comes to the Andes (mountains) but property in Peru. I was only able to see a flash of the photo before the ad of a subscription popped up.

The poem is about Andres who went to the Andes (how to spell that and he should be glad his name isn't Anastasia).

The good morning
The writer spoke with a feeling of joy.
In his post he encourage everyone to start the morning with good feeling which can determine the outcome of your day. He told us that one's who is happy despite his situation attract blessing to himself.
Why I like his article
It simply tell us that challenges are meant to come, therefore we should put behind problem and challenges of life and be happy

I really enjoyed this freewrite by @mercurysis for the prompt artisans. They describe several handmade items they can buy on one of the streets near them. Flutes! I would love one of those flutes! The freewrite finishes with some insights that I found very inspiring. And @mercurysys has been very busy writing with us the past couple of weeks. Welcome to a new freewriter!
