Beaches
As I mentioned in an earlier post, Costa del Sol is a 150 km long beach linking several towns in the province of Malaga, Spain. Last Sunday, instead of our usual walk on the beach in Benalmadena, we took the train and went two stations away to check out another part of the Costa del Sol. We were told that the Carvajal beach is much nicer than Benalmadena beach. So, of course, we need to go and check it out.
Our walk from Carvajal beach took us pass Torre Blanca beach, and Boliches beach in the South-west direction until we were in Fuengirola – another town along the beach. From there, we took the train home.
Was the Carvajal nicer? I have to admit it is. It looks newer and better maintained. The water is also nearer the beach, and it is also not so busy. It was quite pleasant to walk on the wide and well maintained promenade. As with the rest of the coast, there are many eateries on the beach, and apartments, shops and more eateries along the road. The place looks, truly, like a holiday town.

The Osborne Bull is the black silhouette of a bull that stands on hilltops and along the roadside in many – but not all – parts of Spain. It began as nothing more than an advertisement in 1956 when the Osborne Group set out to promote 'Veteran' brandy. 👉 Source
