Location- JJ9J+RR Dinajpur, Bangladesh

A recent cultural aspect I have learned about (along with the origin/country/race it belongs)

Recently I visited the Industrial and Trade Fair which was held in the Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. It's one of the most popular fairs in the northern part of Bangladesh. The duration of this fair is one month. This fair is held every year in the Gor-E-Shahid Eidgah Maidan, Dinajpur, Bangladesh. The fair is being held for the 17th time in 2023.

The entry fee at the fair is only 20 BDT, which means you only need to spend 1 steem to enter the fair. The gate of the fair is beautifully decorated. The gate is made on the model of the traditional palaces of Bangladesh.

As soon as I enter the fair, I see a food shop on the right-hand side. There are traditional pithas of Bengalis and many types of traditional food items.

Most of the shops at this fair have an abundance of Bangladeshi women's cultural costumes. From the front of the gate to the entire fair, there were many shops where girls' cultural dresses, ornaments, and handicraft bags were available.

Things I like about this fair or How does it fascinate me

There are many reasons to like this fair. It's a fascinating kind of show for the people here. So, everyone come to visit this fair. There are many reasons to be fascinated. The reasons are-

Usually, no fair is held on such a large scale in urban areas. But the Dinajpur Industrial Trade Fair has created a different milestone in that respect.

I went to this fair for the first time. I like the presence of people from all walks of life at the fair. Organizing this fair is a good effort to highlight the culture and tradition of the people of North Bengal our country.

A view of the fair

In addition to representing tradition and culture, entertainment arrangements have been kept in the fair. This is one of the attractive aspects of this fair. A small park has been built in the middle of the fair, where some rides have been arranged. So that everyone visiting the fair gets some entertainment.

There are numerous shops at the fair. Usually, you don't see so many shops at other fairs. This month-long fair can be said to be a source of entertainment and commerce for the people of North Bengal.

The fair has managed to attract the attention of all religions and all professions. The fair not only embodies the culture and traditions of North Bengal. Traditional and cultural items from other regions of our country are available here. Besides, traders from other parts of the country also come here for business purposes.

The above reasons fascinate me with this fair.

Do I believe living in a multicultural society is a positive experience?

I live in a multicultural society. There are many multicultural nations in Bangladesh. Most of the people of our country are followers of the Muslim religion, but there are people of other religions as well.

We respect people of all religions and live in cooperation and harmony. In our country, people of all religions live together so much that one cannot distinguish who belongs to which religion.

Some indigenous people live in the hilly areas of our country. Although their language, culture, and traditions are different from ours, we have a bond of harmony with them. They can carry out their cultural events without any hindrance.

We are very curious about the culture of people of other races or religions living in our country. Even though we have different religions, different cultures, and different festivals, we love to share joy with each other. As a result, we get a chance to learn about different cultures without any hesitation.

This experience encourages us to relate politely with people from different countries and learn about different races, and different cultures. We stand by each other's happiness and sadness.

And so living in a multicultural society seems positive to me.

I am inviting @waterjoe, @ridwant & @heriadi to take part in the contest.
