World Environment Day'2023@rezaulfdm

Like every year, World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 this year. This year's theme was 'Solution to Plastic Pollution'. The day is also celebrated in Bangladesh as part of the worldwide celebration of this day. And we celebrated the day grandly in our company "Shah Cement Industries Limited" as development partner of Bangladesh.

Preperation is going on about procession.

Before the 5th of June came, extensive preparations began among us. Ordered big banners and festoons with various slogans. We arranged t-shirts for everyone and caps were also arranged for everyone. We organized tree plantation on Environment Day i.e. 5th June.

Then came 5th June i.e. World Environment Day 2023. All arrive at the "Emergency Assembly" area in front of our office at the scheduled time of 11 am. First, I gave the opening speech on the importance of Environment Day. Then the Head of Human Resource Department and finally the Head of our organization Mr. Hafiz Sikander (Director Operations) sir gave his valuable speech and started today's program.

Ready for rally.
We all proceeded in an orderly fashion. Everyone wears the same t-shirt and cap that says Environment Day and Shah Cement. The hands of many were decorated with festoons rich in beautiful writing.

Rally is moving forward.
We all started the long march. We started walking around the different streets of our factory. Finally, we came to the south side of our factory by the river Dhaleswari. Here we finished our march and got ready for tree planting.

Tree plantation is going on.
We have already dug holes and made trees. As part of our plantation drive this year, we have planted traditional Bengali palm trees. Along with Director Operations Sir, we planted palm trees on this World Environment Day. Every participant enjoyed a lot from the management staff of our organization. Our company Shah Cement celebrated World Environment Day-2023.
