Greetings steemian wherever you are, I hope you are all in good health and in the midst of the Corona virus which is still endemic.

Let me today introduce 2 new steemit user accounts who have successfully registered on this platform today, this is part of the steemit promotion that I do. they are @sony28 and @darma0202. Both of them are students who receive the 2020 KIP Scholarship at the IAIN Lhokseumawe campus.

The KIP (Smart Indonesia Card) Scholarship is given to those who are economically disadvantaged (poor) but have good academic achievements or have other achievements. Therefore I feel they really deserve to be steemian, because on this platform:

1. they can improve their economy
2. they can hone their intelligence, by writing here.

The meeting with them was not originally a meeting planned for promotion or socialization about steemit. I was invited by those in the capacity of their current coaches who had been transferred, so this meeting was a kind of farewell ceremony.

After the farewell event was over, we talked about several other things, such as the progress of lectures that are still being carried out online, the condition of the corona virus, student activities and others, and in the end we also talked about STEEMIT.

I started the conversation by asking them, “Have you ever heard of steemit?. The surprising thing then sounded, "Not yet, sir". They have never heard of and do not know about steemit. Then I tried to introduce steemit to them. in a simple way so that it is more quickly understood, and I only convey the main and important things. so they can understand quickly.

I said there are many steemit communities that can be used according to their respective hobbies, there are writing communities, but if they are overwhelmed to write there are also communities that prioritize photos, and there are several other communities.

After they understand, we then proceed with registering their account until we get the password. I remind them to keep their password safe, because it is the most valuable and dangerous thing if it is stolen by others. or lost.

I hope that many other students will become steemians through them, because they are only 2 people from their 150 community members as recipients of KIP scholarships from the Indonesian government.

Sony is a second semester student who comes from North Sumatra Province, which is about 6 hours by road from my domicile in Lhokseumawe, while Darma comes from Bener Meriah Regency, which is about 3 hours by road from Lhokseumawe.
