What is Witness ?

Witness has an important role on the Steemit platform, they operate a server that generates blocks on the STEEM network. In Steemit, witnesses work to manage operational traffic on consensus which can generate STEEM blocks every time. One STEEM block can be generated in 3 seconds, that's the speed of block producers on the STEEM network.

On Steemit, witnesses can be said to be the main block producers who play their part in the consensus. So, the witness plays an important role in keeping the STEEM production process on the block network with the nodes operating through their computers. @bangla.witness is a witness project run on Steemit and based in India. This project was basically initiated to gather Bengalis on Steemit through Amar Bangla Blog. This project focuses on empowerment and opportunities for the Bengali community on Steemit, with a support capacity of 75%.

In addition, this project also dedicates 25% support for other communities on Steemit in any language. This project was created out of an optimistic attitude and full of commitment to advancing the Steemit platform. From a number of explanations and road maps that have been published, I think the project run by @bangla.witness is not only focused on IT Dev, but also on empowerment and support for the community on Steemit.
