One day it’s setting up ASIC Crypto miners, and full Nodes, to raspberry PI’s!😇
Today the Mrs was helping our neighbor Mike with an after market modem.
That’s Mike with Liz in the fourth photo.
We discovered that “Zipley” our DSL internet provider, bought new overstock Frontier modems, and we’re supplying these to each new customer.
Liz discovered that these exact same, new modems can be bought for amount $100 on Amazon!😇
We simply unplugged the “rented” zipley modem and plugged in the Amazon replacement!
No more rental fee!🤗
Liz is helping Mike do the same!😊

“Alexa” will connect with these “Smart plugs”!
Voice control, and also a phone app on both of our IPhones!

The WiFi camera will be added to a network with two other wireless cameras. This one will monitor our water heater heat pump, that is located in our mud room!😊
I will be able to check the LED screen for hot water temperature, and/or turn the heat pump on or off from either of our phones!😇
After Liz stopped and discussed the details of the Modem swap with Mike we hiked onward.
It must be the day to run into our neighbors Lol!🤣
Next it was Jerry, he is a retired dairy farmer. His grown sons run his business, and Jerry runs his herd of dogs Lol!☺️
One of his dog likes to “nip” so Silvertop being a guitar player, always keeps his hands in his pockets Lol!😳
“See you later Jerry!”
He headed back down his long driveway with his dogs in hot pursuit!
All but one…………😲
Lilly started following us……..She has done this before!

We hiked for miles, Lilly followed……
We passed creeks, Lilly stomped through the creek!
“Liz she is a dog Lol!”🤣
“She needs a Fitbit honey, Lilly just followed us for several miles !”😅
On the way back down we passed three more neighbors, on was Chris.
Chris absolutely does not like dogs!
I believe Lilly could sense this animosity from Chris!🤔
After miles by our side she stopped, turned around, and headed home!
