Importance of investing on Steem through the Steemit platform.

I remain your friend and a Steemit lover in the person of @simonnwigwe. Today I want to talk about a very unique and important topic of investment and being a Steemian who have also tried other form of investment I want to say which is best in my opinion with reasons.

When I first join the Steemit platform I saw that it was a means of learning and earning but I never understood the investment part of the platform since I was new to the entire system.

I took out time to study and learn and those who were ahead as well as the Steemit team always try to encourage users to ensure that they continue to power up their Steem. During that period, once you make a power up, you will see that good support from the Steemit team will come.to you because they are encouraging users to continue powering up.

So that was when I knew that powering up is a way of investing on Steem through the Steemit platform. I'm always curious to learn more hence I decided to explore more ways to invest in the platform that was when I found out that you can as well buy Steem from external exchange and then transfer it to your Steemit wallet.

It doesn't end there, after you have your Steem as Steem power in the Steemit wallet you have to put it to use by means of upvoting content in the Steemit platform and earning rewards. Now if you buy and keep your Steem in the wallet without using it, it will remain there without generating anything for you as a person.

Having invested on other cryptocurrency project and platforms, I have come to a conclusion that investing on the Steemit platform is the best because you have absolutely nothing to lose. A few years ago I saw an investment platform called Cala, I invested a few USDT and was getting a daily return and at some point they closed and eloped with our money.

There are many likes whose aim is to accumulate funds and then elope with it. So if you are a Steemian here instead of using your funds on Steemit to invest in such a platform, it is better you buy Steem and invest it here on the Steemit platform. There are cases where people take their assets to an exchange and keep it there waiting for price rise before they can make profit and the sad reality is that the asset doesn't increase in number but when you invest it in the Steemit platform you will see it growing in number and value on daily basis as a blogger or a curator or both.
