An Introduction to #steemphotos

Greetings!!

I am @poorvik one of the moderators of the #steemphotos community from India is happy to submit an introduction post on behalf of the admin @jyoti-thelight, the admin panel, and our members. This post is in response to the latest update of the Steem Alliance community by @nusuranur

Name and purpose of your community

Our community has name #steemphotos, and our official community curation account is @steemphotos. There are 924 subscribers and more than 25 active posters right now in our community. There are many communities in the Steem ecosystem, however our community shines out in certain areas, like photography. This community encourages photographers to showcase their work and abilities. The primary objective of our community is to gather priceless unique images from our members, hence we must support the photographers. We also wish to support them and raise them gradually.

what kind of posts are supported in the community

Since the community is for photography , we welcome photography relate posts such as selfies, porttair photos, steet photos , travel photos,m food photos, geometrical photos, landscapes, perspectives, arts and cultular photo, celebrations photos, etc. however welcome posts that contain main tags such ar #photography, #mytownin10pics #thediarygames, #arts etc.

The community curation system

Many of our members have been inspired by the fact that @steemphotos, the major curation account for our community, keeps gaining Steem power and aiding other users. Since we have 7 users, we gave our Admin and Mods weekly days to validate posts and curate them using the curation account. By doing this, we keep our community curation account's CSI above 5 and use up to 80% of the voting mana.

Community policies to stop plagiarism and abuse.

The #steemphotos Community checks posts for plagiarism using online plagiarism cheeking tools, AI detector tools, club status, whether or not they used bot services, whether or not they used the right tags, whether or not the post was marked as Steemit Exclusive, whether or not it had 300 words or not (since it is about photography we don't force to write 300 words), and whether or not they used original images that were not covered by copyright.

Problems which is important to eliminate.

Since their community is concerned with photography, our community members are more focused on photography and photography, they don't write much, so photography should be exempt from the 300 word limit.

There are some problems in the areas where more people congregate. We check all the places that join our community and then support them, but occasionally posts will issue warnings to the authors. To address this, we permanently mute the members of our community and occasionally publish their reports.

The important tasks of the community.

Steemit. Our mission is to create photos, photo-related blogs on Steemit and inspire its creators. It is our hope and work to make Steemit a place of good quality photographers and photos posts. We are here to encourage the photographers by conducting a lot of contests and giving them prizes

Help the we needed

When compared to other communities, our community receives a very low level of support. Due to this lack of new members joining and posting, we require assistance to grow and promote photographers and blogs that deal with photography.
I kindly request that all curator teams, as well as SC 01 and SC 02, visit our community.

Ideas to development in our community

Weekly contests are run in the areas of selfie, artistic, and geometrical photography. But because they provide such meagre prizes, few people enter the competition. So, let's hope that the winners will receive assistance from #steemAlliance and that increased involvement will lead to greater postings and a better steempower investment. Since we must continue to be under your control.

Conclusion

Through this introduction offered by the Steem Alliance community, we are thrilled and honoured to introduce ourselves. I'm hoping that this essay will demonstrate to everyone the many positive aspects of our neighbourhood. I'm hoping that by doing this, the developers and members of the Steem Alliance will help our community greatly. We therefore expect that the #steemAlliance will provide support for our members, and that increased engagement will lead to better postings and a better steempower investment.
