Recreative Steem since its founding has managed a clear focus on the arts, providing a pleasant and safe space for our exponents to develop and express in a broad way, their productions from different artistic manifestations.
Each day of the week emphasizes a varied style, thus providing balance and productivity without abandoning our flag: The Arts. This is what our contests, dynamics, interaction and every action taken by those of us who manage this community are aimed at.
We rethink week after week, unique and entertaining ways for those who publish in our community to feel valued. We make this possible by always leaving sobering and sincere comments, which are both gratifying and promote learning for the benefit of the platform and its users.
Exactly 1 year, 9 months and 29 days ago (June 22, 2021), this great community "Recreative Steem" was born; under the community account @hive-141434, it takes its first steps with 300 Steem Power delegated by @graceleon. From the beginning, effort and creativity have been our most fervent allies, which added to the incessant support of our 5,213 subscribers give us the strength to continue contributing to Steemit the best of each one of us.
Recreative Steem was born from the idea of containing the many artists who make life on this platform. It has been the desire to support and encourage them to publish here and not in another blockchain, which drives us to seek a sustainable and lasting growth over time.
From starting with 300 SP we now exceed 90 K SP, which means that the growth is tangible, and not only in numbers but in a year since it opened, we continue to maintain the optimistic spirit that drives many to continue forging beautiful blogs that will remain in time; and lie in the blocks of steemit.com.
Recreative Steem employs two systems of curation, a traditional one which is purely qualitative, where aspects such as plagiarism, the exclusivity of Stemit, the use of bots, the use of Artificial Intelligence, and the status of your club (club5050, club75 or club100) are evaluated in each of the publications, making sure that these are in accordance with the rules issued by the steemitblog team.

On the other hand, there is a quantitative rating system, which is used for the Steemit Engagement Challenge activities. This verification, in addition to evaluating the elements already mentioned, includes the evaluation of the quality of the content and the use of Mark Down.
In addition, a section is included to reveal aspects of user interaction such as club status and CSI. There is also a space for suggestions from the moderator who verifies the publication.

As previously mentioned, our community currently has a team of 6 moderators who are responsible for carrying out all administrative activities and those concerning the verification of publications, for which each team member has been assigned a day on duty, The administrator and founder (@graceleon) is responsible for responding to all activities related and proposed by the steemitblog team, and each moderator in their respective turn has the responsibility to verify, make the necessary observations to improve the quality of publications. Similarly, with the intention of promoting quality content within the community, each moderator has the opportunity to promote at least 2 contests during the month, which ensures that the community maintains a good number of publications and that they have the expected quality. The report of the posts nominated for booming, prepared by @bellana or @astilem, according to the availability of each of them. Similarly, all moderators are responsible for attending to the community's social networks, to provide timely response to any concerns that may arise from some of the users. Our community has two representative contests: Power Up ++. This activity aims to promote the growth of users through Steem Power Up, as a way to boost their accounts and strengthen the Steem ecosystem. Participants can power up any amount of SP, there are no limits. Those users who comply with all the rules of the contest, receive a prize as an incentive, which are usually nominations for votes boomings and liquid steem.
Daily Themes. There is a calendar of topics, grouped by day according to the area, with the purpose of helping our users to find the topics with which they identify, allowing to have a day of the week for each area. It should be noted that it is not limited to only that day they can post on the topic they like, they can also post in their related area on any other day.
In this sense, the only drawback is the issue of slow community growth, since few votes are received from large curator accounts, so one of the best ways to increase community voting power is through delegations. Delegations are not mandatory, as it is a gesture of solidarity or trust made by users as a show of support for the work of the community, which translates into greater voting power for the community and therefore greater support in publications of the users. These delegations have not grown as expected, since in the community they are not given any benefit or additional payment for doing so, other than the support they can receive in each of their publications. In Recreative Steem, we have simple and easy rules that promote healthy interaction and coexistence among its members:
In Recreative Steem we are art lovers, and therefore we promote art in all its branches, valuing all the artistic content created by our members. Cooking, painting, crafts, literature, music, theater, dance, digital art and any other artistic expression have a space in this community to be exposed and made known within Steemit. We handle some tools to check the originality and exclusivity of the posts. When a case of plagiarism arises, we exhort them immediately in comment and Muted to the publication so that it does not receive any reward. Some of the tools we use for the review of publications: Plagiarism Checker We make exhaustive review to check that the publication has not been generated by artificial intelligence and we use some tools that help us to check it. https://writer.com/ai-content-detector/ As well as the periodic review of our bloggers through the different DApps to visualize their movements, transactions and status within the ecosystem. Steemcryptic We are incisive with the use of author sources, we try that the publications that are generated within the community are with own images and we are in constant instruction through the telegram channel with users who need my help and that of the team. Each post on Recreative Steem receives a vote from the community account @hive-141434, and the respective comment verification from the moderation team, and is also eligible to receive a booming support vote, as well as some prizes on TRX. It is also worth mentioning that some outstanding comments also receive votes from the community account, and from some members of the community. Among the monthly activities of the community we have been able to mention the previously described contests. In addition, weekly reports are made on booming votes.
As part of the dynamics promoted by steemitblog, each month the application to be one of the host communities of the Steemit Engagement Challenge is presented.
We are always in constant feedback with users, training them to make their quality publications. Many times publicly in the comments of the posts, other times through the Telegram group or Discord channel and many others in private. We regularly update our informative posts so that users are at the forefront of what they need to know. We have prepared an anthology of some of the publications that users need to read in order to be informed, updated and useful in their journey within the ecosystem. They fulfill purposes such as: clarify doubts, give guidelines to follow, update valuable data, among others.
