Baikal. Part 8. On the other side-2 (20 photo)
So, the village was left behind. The sun shone brightly. I will not say that it was very warm, but we liked the weather. Baikal was calm, and we joyfully continued on our way.
Итак, деревня осталась позади. Ярко светило солнце. Не скажу, что было очень тепло, но нам нравилась такая погода. Байкал был спокойным, и мы радостно продолжили свой путь.

Our coast was steep and rather high. The cliff gradually approached the road itself. This did not bother us. But we were not in a hurry to go down to the water yet. An unknown distance attracted us. I wanted to go a little further and see what was behind those corners.
Наш берег был обрывистым и довольно высоким. Обрыв постепенно подходил к самой дороге. Нас это не смущало. Но и к воде мы пока не спешили спускаться. Нас манила к себе неизведанная даль. Хотелось подалььше пройти и посмотреть, что там за теми поворотами.
The coast was curved in an arc. From far away we could see our settlement.
Берег загибался дугой. Издалека мы могли видеть наше поселение.
Gradually the road narrowed. In the end, it turned into a fairly wide path. It was evident that many people walk on it. But this time no one came across to meet us.
Постепенно дорога сужалась. В конце концов она превратилась в довольно широкую тропу. Было видно, что по ней ходит много народу. Но нам в этот раз никто не попался навстречу.
The only companion was a small boat. We moved in the same direction, but in different ways.
Единственным попутчиком был небольшой катер. Мы двигались в одном направлении, но по разным путям.
Sometimes we come across strange endemic plants. I do not know if these are adults or young individuals. Maybe they grow to large sizes.
Иногда нам попадались странные растения-эндемики. Я не знаю, это взрослые или молодые особи. Может быть они вырастают до больших размеров.
Gradually, the shore became lower and we managed to go down to pebbles to the water. Meanwhile, the sun was also going down lower.
Постепенно берег стал ниже и нам удалось спуститься на гальку к воде. Тем временем солнце тоже спускалось всё ниже.
