in Steem4Nigeria4 months ago (edited)

The Steemit Team,
Through the Steemitblog, it's a pleasure on my part to be among those applying for the position of curator for May. Having checked all the requirements I saw that I was qualified, so I decided to apply. I'm going to be applying following the tips listed below.

A brief summary of your history on Steem.

Every journey started with a step and my case in the Steemit platform is not an exception. I also started this journey some years ago and I will share details of it in the next paragraph below.

I joined this amazing platform on the 9th day of November 2020, which means that I'm already 3 years and some months on the platform already. Since I joined the platform, I have always continued my blogging activities almost every day.

Details of any positions of responsibility you have held on Steem.

At the time of writing this application, I'm serving with the Steem Kids and Parent community as a moderator. That is the only community I'm working with at the moment.

I have also previously held positions as a community curator on this very platform so, I understand how community curators operate.

Details of specialist or professional skills or expertise you have in ‘real life’.

I'm a graduate of computer science and at the moment I'm working with the College of Education Akwanga as a voluntary staff. I love teaching so much and that is the reason I have stayed with the college after my service year.

So, I work as a computer tutor and also I help with the data analysis of the college i.e working in the technical unit.

What country do you live in and what languages you can read fluently?

I'm a Nigerian and I'm also currently living in Nigeria. The language I speak fluently is English. Though I read and understand other languages with the help of Google Translate.

Aside from English, I also speak the three major native languages of my country fluently i.e. Igbo, Hause, and Yoruba. Here at Steemit, I use a translator for any language that I can't read.

Any subjects you particularly enjoy curating.

Yes, as a teacher, I would love to curate subjects that involve creative writing, arts, and crypto-related topics. Though any topic that comes I have been trained as a teacher to look at closely because there are things that may be learned from it.

So in summary, any subject at, I can curate but my specialty is on creative writing, arts, and crypto-related articles.
