Growing up in a Rural or Urban Area

in Steem4Nigeria3 months ago
Greetings Everyone, This is SHOHANA From #Bangladesh

Both rural and urban area living has advantages and disadvantages. We should try both before selecting one for the permanent. When we born we couldn't decide our living style, family and area but after growing up and learn more from life we can be able to decide of our own. We all healthy adults has right and freedom to select the living area for us.

Rural area is about full of natural elements and people can easily connect with the nature though communication system, networking and transportation here is not as good as it is good in urban areas.

Likewise urban area is full of buildings, transportation and full of commercial elements but it doesn't have plenty of natural elements. Air and sound pollution is very common issue in urban areas. Both areas are livable but which one suit you that is important.

Differentiate between urban and rural areas stating three major features

Well there are many differences between Rural and urban areas but among all the major differences or features that I would like to mention is,

  • Rural areas are calm and mostly full of natural elements when Urban areas are full of buildings and transportations and this is the most visible features or differences of these two areas.

  • Networking system of urban areas is faster than rural areas. Everything is on fingertip in urban areas when organic crops or other elements are grown in rural areas more.

  • Urban areas has mills and industries that produce chemicals and smoke which can cause air, sound and soil pollution but rural areas has less chances of pollution if we compare them both.

Which area did you grow up and why?

Actually I was born in rural area and grown up in rural area too but after completing my academic study I shift myself to the urban area. My father's office transfer was in a rural area so we family shifted to a rural area since the beginning of our life. I lived more than 15 years in a rural area and my family was the reason behind this living.

If you were told to go to the area you didn't grow up from, will you?

Honestly I don't mind of it because changes in life help us learning more and we can experience different kind of challenges too. If I get a chance to shift in a new place then it will be interesting to me and I'm ready to explore. I already shift my life from rural to urban so I already did it but at the early age without the family support this could be difficult to adjust in a new place.

What things are there in the area you grew up from that aren't in the other?

Actually I love rural areas more for it's calmness or less crowd. Rural area attract me for it's natural elements. We can have mental peace here because urban areas are mostly crowded and having less amount of natural elements like trees and crops. Urban areas has buildings and noise when rural areas has small houses and birds chirping. Rural organic foods can be shifted to urban areas with the help of transportation but this way organic foods are available in expensive price for urban people.

Hello friend greetings to you, hope you are doing well and good there.

You say you love rural areas because of it's calmness or less crowded. Yes that's true, in village life we have too much peace and serenity. You also say that rural area attract you more for it's natural elements. I am a great admirer of nature too. I really love it. Urban areas has buildings and noise when rural areas has small houses and birds chirping. So perfect example you have quoted dear.

I wish you very best of luck in this contest.

What an interesting, amazing post! I must commend you for the efforts you put in expressing your thoughts to your fellow steemians.

I clearly saw that in your publication that you love the rural areas more. That is a good thing to know also that you were born there. I wasn't born there but I love visiting.

Rural areas are beautiful because they have lots of nature. There are trees, grass, and animals in rural areas. The air is clean and fresh in rural areas. It is quiet and peaceful in rural areas. There is more space in rural areas. Rural areas are like a breath of fresh air, compared to urban areas.

The rural and urban areas has lots of difference in them. Rural areas are small towns or villages that are not crowded, while urban areas are big cities that are crowded. Rural areas have fewer jobs, while urban areas have more jobs. Rural areas are quieter, while urban areas are noisier. Rural areas have more nature, while urban areas have more buildings

Thanks for sharing and good luck with the challenge..

You have provided a balanced and inform decision view of choosing an area to reside in permanently and yeah that's great.

Urban areas has mills and industries that produce chemicals and smoke which can cause air, sound and soil pollution but rural areas has less chances of pollution if we compare them both."

It's true that the components of environment like air, water and soil are definitely more polluted in urban areas than rural areas because former or densely populated and have various industrial setups.

Thanks

Hello dear friend , I agree with you hundred percent that both rural and urban areas have their own advantages and disadvantages. While rural areas have greenery, there are more possibilities for development in urban areas. I enjoyed reading your post. You answered every question very well . Good luck with the engagement
