Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 33: Mother's Love; a time to celebrate and cherish
Hello everyone,
It's your favorite Steemian @rakiya from Nigeria and I'm delighted to join in this contest organized by @steem4nigeria in this noble community today. It's a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.
In your understanding, who is considered a mother, and what are the duties of a mother?
In my opinion for anyone to be considered a mother, it means that person has a motherly figure even if she has not been blessed with a child, once she has the characteristics that every mother should have then she must be considered a mother.
What this means is that every mother must be caring and ready to sacrifice to see that her family have the best especially when she has children. So when she guide and protect her family from every harm, it means she is a mother.
So everyone who deos all the above listed and has compassion for children is a mother because they know what it takes to give birth to a child.
What are some of the sacrifices that mothers make for their children?
One of the major sacrifice a mother makes for her child is the sacrifice of doing anything to be sure that her children or her family is okay. So when a woman goes as far as staying hungry because she wants her children to eat, it is a great sacrifice.
Some mothers go as far as compromising their standard just to ensure that the keep their family intact and they will ensure they do that for the sake of the love and compassion they have for their family.
How does a mother's love shape a person's character and development?
Since a mother loves and cares unconditional, everyone who wishes to learn from a mothers love will learn to love and care unconditional because despite what a child does, the mother never reject him or her.
Instead of casting you away, they will still draw you to theirselves and then encourage and tell you that they still care and love you so you don't feel that the world is completely against you.
So with such love, your life can be easily shaped because you will learn to love just they way you are loved by your mother and that alone has changed your character for the better.
How can we celebrate and show appreciation for our mothers and their love?
The best way one can show appreciation for the love that their mothers showed upon them is by obeying their mothers will to the last provided they are good will and good counsel that will aid their growth.
When your parents sees that you are leaving up to a standard and leaving an examplary life just like the one you have taught them, they will be so delighted and happy and will wish you more blessing.
So all of these are the best ways to show appreciation when your mother does anything good for you.
