Does Money make a happy Couple?

Hello steemians how are you all doing today I hope you all are having a wonderful day and if you ask me I'm also doing good too, so today I will be participating in an amazing contest organised by @manuelhooks titled "Does money make a happy couple"

INTRODUCTION

The theme of the contest sounds like a question that demands a straight answer which may be Yes/No, but I will be answering this question base on how our today's world is and how so many couples have become too greedy for money

On a normal case scenario marriage is a life time commitments between two people in an agreement to be with each other for better and for worse

IS MONEY CENTRAL TO FAMILY HAPPINESS?

There is this wise saying that says "Revolution save's lives" so many years ago if a question like this were to be asked I would proudly and boldly say that money isn't the central core for family happiness

But due to revolution, as time passes by and things are changing inflation and hardship every where in the country a lot of people and families are struggling to survive, so at this point I will say Yes that money is the central to family happiness, why? You may ask but I will explain

Today money has taken over the system from the food we eat, clothes, shelter etc it's all about money and to worsen the matter all of this basic needs for survival are becoming more and more expensive by the day

And love isn't enough to help promote the families love for each other for example if the two married couples have kids, love won't be enough to take care of them and their needs so you see that money is very much needed to provide the family with a healthy living

And in most case you will notice in some relationships if the man isn't able to carry out most of his responsibilities his wife will always be frowning her face at him and as time goes on she will start disrespecting her husband all because he's not able to carry out his full responsibilities

WHAT ARE SOME COMMON MONEY RELATED ISSUES AMONG COUPLES IN YOUR AREA?

In my area I have seen so many couples fighting each other always because of low source of income and in the end there will separate and go their own separate ways who in turn tends to affect the childrens

And when talking about some common money related issues amongst couples in my area I have seen couples fighting each other every day all because of money, I have seen wives insulting their husbands because he's unable to carry out his responsibilities

And I have also seen a lot of men being treated like slaves by their own wife simply because their wives earn more than there do and most especially those married couples who did court marriage. You will see how the wife will be behaving so as to force the husband to file for a divorce so that she would claim half of his properties, so you see that due to the love of money a lot of marriages has been disbanded.

HOW WILL YOU DEAL WITH A SITUATION WHERE A SPOUSE FEELS THAT YOUR MONEY IS OUR MONEY BUT MY MONEY IS MY MONEY.

In the case of your money is our money and my money is my money it's most commonly seen amongst women as there only think that what their husbands struggles and earn is meant to take care of the family while what they work and earn is only for themselves and their make-ups which is very bad

As this kind of mindset isn't encouraging at all a it will only put more pressure on the husband, so I think that couples shouldn't believe in such ideology and there should always support each other in a mutual way in other for them to be able to grow together as one happy family

IN YOUR OPINION, IS A WIFE OBLIGATED TO SUBMIT HER SALARY TO HER HUSBAND AT THE END OF EACH MONTH? or should it be the other way round.

Here I'm going to give you all a straight answer, the wife can either decide to give her salary to her husband only if she wants to, afterall it's her struggle and her money but "IF ONLY" the love is there she can then decide to give the money to her husband

Since it is her money and she has full rights over it she can do with it how she pleases but if there's Love she can then decide to give it to her husband to help promote and strengthen the love and respect she has for her husband

WHY IS MONEY SUCH A BIG ISSUE IN MARRIAGE LATELY? WHAT MEASURES DO YOU [OR WILL YOU] TAKE TO MITIGATE THIS PROBLEM.

Why money is such a big deal in marriage is that even in the bible Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus just because of money 💰, and the only way that I think could help solve some of this problems are, both couples should try and a take up a job that will bring out income in other to contribute and take care of their family.

Because living the responsibilities to one person at first it will be fun cause the love is new but as time goes on the person will be tired of such responsibilities and there argument and fighting will start

CONCLUSION

Love is very much necessary in a relationship because without it couples won't be able to understand each other like there say "love is blind" but also money is also needed as couples won't use love to buy themselves food, clothings and shelter
