StayFit Club: Highlights of My fitness activities for the Week Ending 31st March, 2024

Hello dear friends, welcome to my weekly update of my fitness training. Remember that I already scheduled days for the training which are Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays. This past week wasn't an exception as I was able to go out by 6:30am each day of those days to dish out programs for my clients. I was also part of those programs because I too needed to train myself.

I slated different programs for each of the days. Please follow along as I tell you what the programs are all about.

Mondays -Strength Training

This day, I announced in our fitness group that I was going to take them on this strength training. What is strength training and what does it involve?

Well, it is that training that target the the muscles. It strengthens the muscles and increase its mass. It is very important for the overall well being of the individual involved.

It has a lot of benefits including that of reducing the risk of osteoporosis, manages weight, burns calories and reduce weight. This is just to mention but a few.

On getting to the training center, I gave out about 4 different programs. But we began with warmup programs, then I told them to do a stationary running where they had to climb a stair up and down while running. It is a swift movement of the legs up a high steplike pavement and down, interchanging one leg with the other.

After this, they used a dumbbell to do a one sided high knee. 100 times on each legs broken down according to their strengths.

Then, they sat down, stilted backwards and lifted weight up and down for 100 times, broken down according to their strengths but I made sure that they all took part in them.

Along with other programs, they were able to get the best out of that day's training and they were very happy

Wednesday -LOLs (lots of legs)

This is a program that targets the legs and strengthens them. If our legs are strengthened, they can be able to carry our bodies. Achieving our fitness goals becomes easier with legs that are strengthened. The muscles on the leg region can be stronger, helping us to carry out other fitness activities or our daily matters. Legs are very important and as such, there are some workout programs that are meant to strengthen them.

I had to always research to be able get the precise program for the legs.

The programs included the different types of squats including the step forward, side steps and back, squats plus high knee.

After the workout session, we switched to long tennis 🎾. Some men who train with me are also long tennis players and they decided to teach me how to play that. The pictures below speaks volumes

Friday -Arm Strength

We went for arm strength were I was able to give out different programs that can help firm and strengthen the arms. The arm as part of our body is regularly in use both to open and close the doors, to lift our suitcases and others. These activities becomes easier if our arms are strengthened.

The programs included but not limited to the following

The planks, both side planks, half and full planks, plank tap, triceps dip among others.

Each of the programs were done 200 reps.

Saturday -Tabatha specials

It was a fun workout day and as such, I used Tabatha music to be able to control the program. It is a type of workout music that times both the program and the rest period. We stop when the music says stop and start when it says start. Everyone will hurry to join and stops at the same time. It is fun and at the same time exhausting.

I combined different programs like the jumping jacks, the boxing, high knees, lounges, squats and the rest. We later rode a bicycle, played football and left for the day

Conclusion

This past week was awesome! We had our complete programs and everyone loved them. We only need some equipments to help us carry out the programs to the full. With time, everything will fall in place. Yes, keeping fit is a nice business.

More people are joining us. We are just starting.

It was well structured and scientifically designed fitness program with varities of physical as well as sports activities making the program very attractive to both novices and expart.

It very interesting to know to loose weight while gaining muscle, the importance of strength of our arms and legs. To make the program more comprehensive inclusion of sports activities like tenis, football are also meaningful.

Thank you for sharing the informative and detailed post. It will be also beneficial to those who cannot physically attend the program.
