My Favorite Household Appliances.

Home appliances are electronic or mechanical devices that help make household tasks easier, faster, and more efficient. They can include everything from refrigerators and ovens to washing machines and air conditioners. Some of the common categories of home appliances will include
- Cooking appliances.
- Laundry appliances.
- Cleaning appliances.
In this post I will be presenting three of my favorite household appliances, their functions, frequency of use and cost. What readily comes to my mind now is my Kenwood multifunctional food processor, my Asus Notebook and my Greenew power bank. Though I have other appliances which are not in the list of my first three.
My Kenwood Food Processor |

The Kenwood multifunctional food processor is a product designed to aid in the preparation of food. I love cooking and that is why the food processor came on top of my list.
Functions of this appliance
I use the Kenwood food processor mostly to prepare smoothie for the family. It can also be used to blend food ingredients and process yam into fufu. The food processor is not made for dry processing.
How often i use this appliance
I use the food processor at least 3 to 4 times a week for smoothies and occasionally to mix and blend food ingredients, so I can say the frequency of use is five out of the seven days in the week.
Can I afford a day without using this appliance?
Yes, I don't use the food processor everyday. But I make a lot of use in a week. Not having constant power is another reason why I don't use it more often.
How long since I got this appliance
I got this food processor some three months after my bender got spoilt and I needed something to replace it. I still feel like getting the blender fixed.
The cost of purchasing this appliance
The Cost of material, devices and appliances heve gone high, some things have tripled it's cost. Bellow is a table showing how much I bought the Kenwood food processor some three months ago.

My Asus Notebook |

The ASUS Transformer Book T100TA is a 10 inch windows tablet with a Quad Core Z3740 1.33 GHz Processor running a windows 10 operating system. The device can be operated via a touch screen or attached keyboard.
Functions of this appliance
I use it to draft building plans and it's easy to make a presentation of a 3D model using this device. At home it transforms into an entertainment and media device. So I use it to watch video tutorial and make some computations.
How often i use this appliance
The Asus Notebook is an everyday device as it is used for both work and leisure. I am often glued to this device as a tool for work or as an aid to relaxation. Though I will not like to see myself aditcted to this device, I can tell that after my phone it's the appliance that spends the most time with me.
Can I afford a day without using this appliance?
Unfortunately, I can not go through a day without using the Asus Notebook for work or to keep myself entertained. It has been a very faithful and trusted device.
How long since I got this appliance
I have been enjoying this appliance for the pass three years, it has only been reformated once and has been friendly ever since. 
The cost of purchasing this appliance
The ASUS Transformer Book came to me as a gift from my sister, I was using an HP Elite book and needed something more portable. I estimate the price as shown below

My Power Bank |

The Greenew power bank is a storage device for holding electrical power. It is rechargeable and very important due to the unpredictable nature of power supply in my area.
Functions of this appliance
The Greenew power bank is a portable storage that holds power for small USB powered devices mo's especially phones, tablets and ear buds. I wse it to power my phones to keep me steeming.
How often i use this appliance
I use this power bank every day to keep my phone charged, without this device, I will run out of power on my phone. When fully charged, It is able to charge my phone five times.
Can I afford a day without using this appliance?
No. I can't go a day without making use of this device. It's always around except when it's charging. We do not have regular power supply and depend on stored power.
How long since I got this appliance
This power bank is Six months old, the previous power bank lasted a year and four months before I recently took it's battery to power another device.

The Greenew power bank's cost is reflected on the table below.
