Skills or Talents

A wonderful contest which I find too interesting to avoid. I'm going to be discussing my humble view about the two words which are skills or talent. I hope you will enjoy reading through this publication today as I will try to make my explanations as easy as possible.
That being said, I will like to invite my friends to also join the contest today and share their participation as well. I want to invite @bonaventure24, @m-fdo, and @mjerry to join the contest.
In your own words tell us what you think a skill is and what a talent is
Based on my little understanding, I think a skill is something you learn. This means that there are things we know nothing about it from the very beginning and then we learn it because we want to know them or to earn a living from it.
Learning a skill always has a mentor or a teacher who takes you through the process since you are a complete newbie in that field. So you will have to learn everything from the beginning till the end as you are guided by your master.
Talent on the other hand is an inborn skill that needs to be nurtured to produce a better result. Here you already know a little about the said skill and all you need to perfect it is a little coaching from another who has gone far ahead of you.
Which of them do you prefer and why
I prefer talent to skills because, with od talent, you don't need to stress yourself to learn. Everything you will be doing will just fall in place because you have everything in you already.
If a talented person and a skilled person kept learning something, together you will notice that the talented person learns faster and even add more fashion to his work because he is born with it whereas a skilled person always reciprocates what he has learned because he is afraid of making errors.
Do you have a skill or do you have a talent? Tell us about it
I have a talent and a skill at the moment. I have a talent to sing music and also the skill to play a band very well. I'm one of the people who plays band and the guitar in my church as I also joined the singing ministry to sing in the choir.
Both my skills and my talent are used judiciously for the service of God and I will continue to do that always. I also intend to learn other skills that can help me to earn a good amount of money for life. I will do that immediately I'm able to finish my school.
