My Neighborhood Watch #8 - Reporting Events Around Us
It is yet another week of the contest titled My Neighborhood Watch #8 - Reporting Events Around Us, a contest organized by @xkool24. It is one of the most interesting contests we are seeing on the platform today because it helps everyone to express their feelings about the happenings around them.
In this week's contest, I will be reporting the situation in my area in the just concluded week. In Nigeria, there is chaos everywhere and people are confused about what exactly to do. This has made things move from bad to worse. Every day we keep hearing bad news.
Well in my area, the latest news or happening is about an abandoned newly born baby. Just outside the church a few days ago, the church leader called the attention of its members that he saw a little child wrapped in a white cloth inside a cartoon when he went for his morning prayers.
It is indeed a story that is currently trending at the moment because they are yet to find out the real owner or the parent of the little child. These are the results of the hardship in the country. To cut a long story short, after lots of inquiries, they took the child to a nearby orphanage to properly care for.
As you can see there are lots of things happening in Nigeria and in my area at the moment. We have also advised young men and women to abstain from sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy which may lead to dropping the child and running away like this young lady did.
Everyone here is feeling the hardship of the country and that is the main reason we all need to be more careful in the way we leave our lives as it may affect us greatly if we are not very careful. The Community members are on watch out for such an ugly incident not to repeat itself. So that is my report today and I hope I will come up next week with another interesting report.

You are right bro young ladies and young boys should take caution before giving birth to a baby and abandon for no reason, situation of the country keep getting worse by the day may the lord help us. best of luck dear.
This is really surprising, How can a mother abandon her child after the rigorous process of pregnancy? This sounds very disturbing and where is the consciousness of humans? God help the baby get succor. Best of luck
The country as well as the society isn't in a good state my friend so is advisable for everyone to live a righteous life and mine his/her business in other to survive in this country.
